Jas, is that still taken in 3DGS's modeler??? Cause that vest shine is amazing and I don't recall the modeler to have specular reflection that good.

No, it's Blender. I haven't used 3D Game Studio in years... .

Looks good! How smooth is the transition between running and standing still?

Non existent, so far. I only did this run and a walk cycle real quick, like half an hour or so, to test the rig. I'm tempted to make more but I'd like to rig the face and make the inside of the mouth.

Here I've whipped up some transitions between animations:

I've also rigged the eyelids and the hair.

He looks a tad bald when his eyes don't cover his entire forehead.

The animation looks awesome, but its just as Kobold said.... he looks just too bald, and too weird without pupils

Woah, those models weren't so good the last time I checked. Neat graphics.

They are a huge improvement from the LBA1/LBA2 models... I realy enjoyed 'em, and only found that problem I said above

I'm kinda off this topic, but how is the progress of the remake (that is, if you guys are still doing it)? Are you planning on animating that model even further?

Can't see anything wrong with the eyes themselves - there's a good proportion of the white of the eye with the iris, the eyelids are a bit too responsive when the eyes move up and down - I'm working on that.

Here's a closeup:
http://youtu.be/FcRhRrnPqzY

EDIT:

You do have to remember that these aren't people but well aliens... despite me trying to make them look a little bit more plausible then the play-doh blobs with oversized eyes stuck to them. Dude's got weird body proportions, three fingers and giant eyes. To keep the weirdness at bay (or the character appearing child-like) his hands and feet are with proportion to the head and not the rest of the body.

Cool, yeah I had to get some LBA out of my system. There's still some jerkiness in the animation. I'm probably going to bake the animation out, maybe add eyelid movement, put it on a small piece of ground and throw it in a HTML5 WebGL viewer or something.
