I can notice a difference.
My monitor can only go to 50 then I get lines across the screen where the pixels fill up to half the screen.

You state here that the progress for the demo music is 0%, does that mean that the music I have made so far is discarded or only for the whole game?
I could try to make some sound effects btw Just make a list of what you want.
Further on: should I make the Desert Island model with tracks or will those be added later on? For the first choice I should know where you want to race exactly. I know you wanted to use the Race track and the hacienda tracks, but for the second one you have a shortcut.
Should there be places for spectators to watch the races?
Btw, I would love to have a jungle track Maybe on 'new Zeelich'?

but if there's no music in the demo, shouldn't it be 100% then?
Ok, when I'm in Windows again I will continue on the Desert Island model without any assigned tracks

I use (Autodesk/Discreet) 3d studio max 7, but that one is a bit outdated, but still fine I build the whole island vertex by vertex btw, which consumes a hell lot of time

Kurck - I can tell! I've got Maya 2008, and it's bloody difficult!!
The only things I can do well are creating cloth simulations

But I'm looking around the net for any Maya tutorials.

Weren't they provided with the program itself? Because I got a whole tutorial cd with 3ds max (takes a lot of time too, but really makes you better in modelling and stuff)

Good luck on finding those toturials btw

There will be music in the demo, just not your music, Kurck. That will be used in the actuall game
