Off the top of my head, I'd say:
décevoir (to let down) - deceive (to lie / betray),
sympathie ("liking", a sort of positive attitude towards someone) - sympathy (compassion).
Also, I often see people struggling to accept that "travail" has nothing to do with "travel".

Haha, never noticed travail and travel
Other ones, huh...
Can't think of any, but here's an interesting one, énervé translated litterally is unnerved, but it actually means angry. Énervé is a word which took up its opposite meaning

Oh, maybe candide/candid. A guy who is candide is someone naively optimistic.

Well "énervé" in Québec is firstly used as "excited"

Which is the opposite of angry!

It's sad the only LBA forum we have looks old and and unattractive.

People who might be interested in LBA will eventually end here and say it's depreciated.

I happen to think the dark themes we currently have look very attractive. I dislike what counts as modern design nowadays (for the most part). The problem is that very few people dictate "modern design", and those people usually work in the interest a few big corporations (Microsoft, Google, Apple...). The design standard they dictate revolves around maximizing their profits and appealing mainly to the dumb. But then everybody just gets used to it.

That said, if you make a vB theme that looks good and has an LBA feel I don't see why El wouldn't add it to the forum as an option.
