Mad Max/Midnight Madness?

This might be a silly thread, but in my younger days, at school, they used to let us play a game on the Macintosh computers once we were done with our work. I forget the name, but it involved you being a detective and taking photos of these robots (?) who were doing evil deeds in the schoolhouse and getting all of their photos/clues by midnight, or else the evil Dr. (?) Max or something would win.

Does anyone have any idea of this game? I was wondering if perhaps I could find it, and possibly emulate it onto my Windows-based PC...

Update!

After scouring various websites to find out whether the game even existed, I managed to locate a profile at the Underdogs.

http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=1098

Note: The above is not a link to warez, only to the game profile.

Inquiry - I've been reading that the original "Doom" game is shareware. Does anybody know where I can get a copy of it?

A shareware version of a game is a demo that can be freely distributed and copied. Doom is still commercial, as far as I know. (I think you confused "shareware" with "freeware" there )
