Exclamation # of guests.....

Recently, within the past 2-3 days, the number of guests to the website has been, well, to put it bluntly, a whole shitload full.....I mean, the record for mosts uses is 65.....Is this suspicious to anybody else but me? I mean, right now, there are 4 users and 18 guests.....either alot of people are taking interest in the MBN or somethings up.....and I don't like it.....what effects could this much traffic cause?

Isn't it good, more exposure to LBA?

yes, but the number of guests had risen to 27 within the last 2 minutes.....a bit abnormal, don't you think?

edit: wow, since I made this thread, the number of guests is back at a healthy level, much better than 27, eh?

most of the guests are webspiders (those are bots of searchengines that look for sides to add)

but I rather have that they are a guest and get familiar than that they register and never return/

No.....I'm not trying to sound like a bastard, refusing people from the forum as guest...that's how I was for about a year on the forum and before that the Twinsun Tribune thingy.....

Its just I DOUBT that there were ever 65 MBN members on at once, even with guests, that were not, like you said, webbots or whatever....

I was just worried the potential for something malicious was there and should be brought to, especially the mods, attention.

Well.....it just seemed like an abnormally (really abnormally) high number of guests.

How about we all try and top 65 tomorrow at 10:00 AM Eastern Time?

It could also be that an url within the forum was posted on a somewhat busy forum. A LBA3 thread for example.

I still find it hard to believe that even with bots and thread links (it can't though, because when I checked "who's online", all the guests were on the forum main page...) that more than 30 guests would be on at once......it seems so.....artificial...

I think 65 webspiders is a little much (without counting the members).
Can't you reset it so it's possible to go over it again?

If the number of guests isn't at 1000 or over at the end of the week I will brush your teeth for a month every morning and evening .
You'd like that wouldn't you ?

First I'm going to switch the shampoo in the bathroom with cd-roms so when my parents wake up in the morning and go wash their hair they will wash them with cd-roms and need a lot of time getting those of their hair.
This saves me time to run to belgium.
There I will probably find a crashed spaceship.
I will borrow a toolbox from the houses around there and fix the spaceship.
Once I figure out how it works I will fly to France where I have to get out of the space ship (no spaceships allowed there ).
Then I will scream at the top of my lungs so the french police will come get me and put me in prison for doing it.
But what they didn't know is that from that toolbox I borrowed in belgium I took a saw.
I use my saw on the bars in the prison and get out.
That prison will probably be in Paris.
Now I only have to find Gazogems house...
For that I will find a piece of paper, a piece of wood and a nail.
I put the nail through the wood and eat the piece of paper (didn't have breakfast yet ).
I will then go ask people where Gazogem lives and if they don't want to tell me I'll hit them with the wood with the nail.

After I found his house this way and brushed his teeth I will call the police to tell them I broke out and they will send me to the more highly secured prison in the north of France.
I still have the saw so I get out there easily.
When back in Belgium I see my spaceship has been stolen so I go search for a new one.
While I'm searching I find an old schoolbook.
I set fire to it and start waving it in the air.
A spaceship sees this and thinks he can land.
He crashes against all the trees there and I can take the spaceship.
But no houses are near there so I can't ask for a toolbox.
Then I find out I accidently took Gazogems toothbrush with me.
I use it to fix the spaceship and fly back to Holland.
There I call my parents and tell them at night this very strong guy entered my room and kicked me to the dutch border.
My parents come to pick me up and I'm home again.

Once I figure out how to get there in the evening I'll tell you .

Offcourse they do.
He is very famous in France.
It's part of their study to know where he lives, his phone number, his nickname, his favorite food, etc.
