3D game creation tool

I am a new member and have noticed that there are ALOT of fan's willing to make whole games & projects based on LBA.
I have been into making games since i was 8 (i used a simple 2D tool 'Klik & Play'=(no programing)) And have now bought a new 3D game tool called jamagic.
jamagic is a very powerfull tool that comes with its own 3D engine and is made by an award winning team called ClickTeam.
Does anyone know about jamagic? Because i think it will be a good platform to build a 3D LBA game on.

I used to use TGF a lot, but i gave up on it after i made something nice and spend AGES looking for Click & Create to take it to the next step

I then learnt visual basic, switched to DarkBasic, then DarkBasicPro, and finaly Delphi

I have heard of jamagic but never used it.

Currently a few people are using DBP to make LBA games, and i think thats simerlar to Jamagic.

After a year or so (i think) Click & Create was purchased by another company IMSI and changed it's name to Multimedia Fusion.

Multimedia Fusion is still a good tool to use.
I have bought the latest version and i use it ALOT, and have basicly mastered the program over a period of about 5 years (don't know about all the extension objects being made)
If anyone wanted to make a game with this tool i'd be happy to work with them.

Darkflame, if you enjoyed using TGF than you would probably like to know that The Games Factory 2 & MMF2 is coming out soon...
It may have advanced 3D capabilities with this version.
I can't wait!

Someone told me that Dark Basic was better than Jamagic, that's why i bought it iso Jamagic. I used to use TGF a lot but now i think it sucks, that's 2D and really hard to use when you are making a big project.

Well you may only be able to make 2D games, but you can make just about any 2D game you want! especially with Multimedia Fusion (latest release) There are thousands of extension objects that you can download to stretch it's capability's beyond any 2D game engine... Besides you don't have type any scripting language at all! And did you have to pay for Dark Basic? Well anyway Jamagic's code is very similar to javascript and way more easier to use than any other 3D game tool...

I liked the games factory...but somehow i dought they can make it work in 3D.

TGF2, if it ever comes, will probably be like "The Game Creator"..easy to use but limited to preset genras.

I love Dark Basic..but the support forums are rubbish...very bad atmosphere there.
Currently using Delphi with verious stuff.

There was an idea of making MMF/TGF 3D by making it like auto cad.
By the way the support forums at Clickteam forums are excelent.

Well, the problem is how to get the gameplay mechcanics working in 3D.
Because much more tricky.
I dont think there little "list and dot" interface would work anymore.

Maybe a flow-chart based thing.

I've used K&P, TGF, C&C, and these days sometimes MMF.
Never tried Jamagic, and to tell you the truth I haven't seen any complete products of it. Probably everybody that uses it, when he finally gets something good out, he sells it instead of giving it for free.

You mean the event editor?
Well there is no need to replace that as it has everything you need to make a good 2D game. There are tonnes of extensions fit any job, Theres even a new 3D open GL object for MMF & Games Factory that i haven't tried yet... Maybe that might work well.

Blitz3D is fantastic for 2D and 3D though the Blitz Basic site seems to be down at the moment. I've used it to make all my games.
