I do wish they'd be more games as classic as Simon.

Eledees - played it - bored within 10 minutes
Pokemon Pearl - played it...same old same old... but I do love Pokemon so I guess I will play it through - shame it didnt really develop much. Wifi features are cool though. If youve not played any others then this is the best so far. The interface is still clunky mind and I hate it that you cant answer questions still - you have to use a shitty word bank

Just played a round of Masq, a story with many dark secrets revolving around a fashion show.
It's not a linear game at all, every choice you make and even the time you take to choose what to do affect the plot, so you can play over and over with different results.

It's free, so give it a shot.

Learn the art of powersliding, practice it a lot. You'll be able to win any race.

No, really, once you get the hang of real power sliding you'll be way ahead.

Super Nintendo.
I had an emulating problem once and fixed it by creating a short key. So if you have any problems, just ask.

Hey hey, haven't visited in a while.

Anyhow, my recent exploits in Gamingland:

Gotten started on Fallout on account of my never having played it before and all the buzz around Fallout 3 made me curious. So far it's entertaining enough, though I haven't gotten too far yet.

Been playing Super Paper Mario for quite some time now, gotten started on the fifth world.

Also gotten started on Killer 7 yesterday. Good lord, everything about this game is frightening, disturbing and/or bizarre in some way. I love it already. Beaten the first boss earlier today; Harman is pretty badass for a crippled guy in a wheelchair.

Fallout 2 is one of my favorite games ever and I still never played the first Fallout.

You know, I think I'm gonna fix that now.

Gotten started on Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. So far it's pretty much a mixed bag; on the one hand we have prettier graphics and gameplay enhancements from MGS2, on the other we have mediocre, utterly inferior voice acting compared to the original and sometimes neat, mostly unnecessary Matrix-y cutscenes.

Nonetheless, it's still entertaining enough. So far I've made it till after the battle with Psycho Mantis (which I've finally managed to experience the way it's meant to be - with controller swapping! - since the only other version of MGS1 I've ever played was the PC version).

Also gotten the sixth Pure Heart on Super Paper Mario

Playing Tron 2.0, Picross DS and FFIII.
Tron 2.0 is a really good game. I like the way you can upgrade yourself with armor and weapons and stuff. Picross DS is still fun to just play now and then. FFIII is pretty nice but lately I really havent been able to sit through an entire RPG. I already notice with FFIII I'm kind of getting bored with it. Had the same with FFIV Advance. Played it untill somewhere near the ending but got bored with it so I never finished it. Same will probably happen with this one.

Rayman 3 for the second time.
I ran it at 1280x960 and my PC handled it perfectly fine!
Which is quite bizarre as my sister jumped onto a couple of crack sites and didn't know about the whole concept that viruses, trojans and malware can live inside of exe's and ran a few of them causing my machine to run at only half to 1/3 of it's speed!
My system still isn't perfectly stable after attempting to remove them numerous times but that's what I get for not passwording my system and blocking her from getting back on!

Well, this is a bit of a problem with RPG's indeed as they are all basicaly the exact same game.
The only thing that separates a good rpg from a bad one is normally story and game balance. The play mechanics are ancient and haven't changed much.
For an RPG to be entertaining for me it now really has to mix in another genra.

Like Mario & Luigi's SuperStarSaga, or the Paper Mario games do.

I've been playing a bit of Tribes 2 again lately, was surprised to see that my favourite mod (version2) was still around (and relatively popular, compared to the others) and even saw a few old clanmates.

That game rocks - never got an EU release though!

Have recently bought Pangya for Wii - only 29.99 and it is very good indeed. I really like the RPG elements to the golf. The putting and swing action aren't quite as good as Wii Sports but it is certainly a very good effort. Great fun!

That's why I've added the lowercase notice. Not that I do own a Super NES in the first place.
