Made some more decent progress on Super Paper Mario, only 1 Pure Heart left to go

Also had another go at Mercury Meltdown Revolution. I'm loving it. It's challenging, it's frustrating, it's addictive.

And of course the usual "made more progress on MGS Twin Snakes", namely made it out of the cell after Ocelot's torture session.

Lately I'm too lazy to properly play "real" games so I go to Newgrounds a lot.
A game I got addicted to there is Momentum Missile Mayhem.
It's recommended to get the .exe version (the link is in the Flash version if I recall correctly).

I don't find it that fun.
MMM has action elements and leveling up, this is just placing turrets and looking.

The structures level up, much like your gun in Turret defense. (leveling up does improve a lot of games )
Turret defense is better, imo, because theres a lot of depth too it. Things seeming impossible at first open up once you get some of the tactics. While its not as action orinated its still can get pretty hetic.
Especialy with the fact your told constantly what is coming towards you, your given time to plan in advance what upgrades or purchase's is best to get.
One cheap tactic I'm using quite a bit is placing the cheapest turrets then saleing them of. I lose money out of it, but sometimes its worth it to slow enemys down.

I just survived 49 minutes in survival mode on MMM, it seems to have a mix of planning ahead and improvising which I like.
On one hand you need to know when to save your power ups and plan how to use your tech points next, and on the other a wrong move might send a unit flying towards you and you need to figure out a quick way to keep it away from the left side of the screen.

Virtua Tennis 3.
Graphics in this game is wonderful!
I'd rate gameplay 7/10.

You can make the world tour, starting from a 300 graded player (male or woman) made by you (name, face, body, and even game style!). At the beginning challanges are way too easy but when you get in the first 200 players it gets very challanging!
During the wordl tour you can play minigames that will improve your stats, playing challanges (single, double and mixed double).
Also quite addicting probably even if you dont like tennis

I just didnt like the idea that they made Federer stronger than Nadal

Very fun game with great dialog. Its really neat how they deviously plan each case.the exploration parts get slow sometimes. In all i give it a 9/10

Picked up God of War 2 today, and to be honest, I'm slightly dissapointed so far. Don't get me wrong, its quite a good game, and all the mechanics work really well, I was simply expecting a bit more. The bosses are quite cool (the huge Colossus was quite fun to fight against). Despite that, it feels a lot like Prince of Persia mixed with a bit of Devil May Cry, with a less interesting storyline.

Oblivion, F.E.A.R, CounterStrike:Source, Starcraft Broodwars (battle.net)

Been playing them in that order..

Completed F.E.A.R, Oblivion is fun when I got no internet.. - CS:Source for when Teppe or College mates are online. Broodwars (battle.net) despite being an RTS game.. they've changed maps to user map settings.. so you get loads of random games like Cat & Mouse which is pretty fun (old game but new maps constantly on Battle.net).

Too easy once your player gets strong... and i figured out its too much arcade... i wanted something more near to a simulator :P

You need a Wii then dont you
(and even that is fairly basic simulation, theres no way to hit the ball upwards or down as such).
Really all console tennis games are pretty far removed from the real thing

I've heard that Top Spin is quite good, as far as Tennis Sims go. Better than Virtua Tennis, at least, which has always been rather arcadey.
