That's the thing, he doesn't let me use the key on the door.
If you really want to get down to this, I still have a save of that part.

I remember I was stuck a long time on this part as well. But finally I got over it somehow.

Then the second time I played I got stuck there again...

New game that came up on the Ubuntu Repositories.
KQ
Apparently it's Final Fantasy but in a 2d land or something... I didn't really take time to read the description.
It's kinda difficult.. Especially when you need to do the first task!

Maybe it's cos I'm new to the games

Could be a bug... It never happened to me...
Try installing the official game patch if you haven't.

I remember I got stuck in Grim Fandango because I didn't have the patch.
There was an elevator in year 2, and if you didn't have the patch installed, it would go too fast and you couldn't do anything while you were in it.

I just recently stumbled upon on a nice FPS - Tremulous
It's for Windows and Linux and is very fast, very nice and has very smooth graphics.

A definite must! But beware... it is 100mb.
(Don't download the Linux version from their site if you're using Ubuntu/Debian. It's in the repositories)

It's a fair amount and it can take a while for people to download. But it did take me 10 and a half minutes to download... (gotta love unlocked lines :P)

We were on an 1.5Mbit plan, and we asked Telstra (the people who installed the line) to unlock the bandwidth limit and so now we have almost 8MBit.
(But for some reason the download was slow. Maybe my sister was downloading something else that used most of the bandwidth. I dunno)

Has Glottis installed those things that can raise and lower the car?

If not, you have to do that part with the lawn cart and glottis getting pissed off part first.

But wait, come to think about it, you need that to get the key, right?

Can you please upload the save game, this really sounds funny to solve, I remember having a similar problem, I might remember wrong though.

Yeah sorry if I'm sounding a bit bitchy - I wasn't in the best mood at the time.

That's cool Dan.

If anyone's looking for me, I'm mostly on the GameArena Tremulous servers 1 to 4 (depending who's on the server ) - and my username is SebZ (with the color as well)

Last game I've played was Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
On first sight, this game is totally awesome! The Super Mario Bros. level with Bowser was particulary hilarous. It also has a surprisingly good translation.

Last game I played:Warhammer40,000: Dawn of War
Got bored very quickly, all you do is fight with no stratagy to the extent that there isn't even a storyline left, and they call it a RTS game...

I agree, Dawn of War is a very cheap strategy game. I think I'll get Starcraft II at launch.

Last game I played was Geist. I've been playing some random gamecube games again lately. I already finished RE4 again a while back and also Pikmin2 before Geist.

Assassin, have you recovered the debt in Pikmin 2? The way they did the 'ending' was so cool, totally suprised me

Spoiler:

Well, louie getting lost and the other dude coming instead suprised me.

It's like a pikmin 3 game built right in

So far I've completed 100% of the 1st two locations you get to, got just a few more to get at the watery place and damn those caves in the new location are hard!

I got all the items in the first 2 places as well. I have them all in the third one except for one cave which I have no idea how to enter. It's in the water, but I need every kind of Pikmin in there so I have no idea how to get in with those. How did you get in there? For the last area, I think I got 3 items (including the weight which gives a lot of money) but haven't gone into any caves yet.

Playing Need For Speed: Carbon, and even though it's nice and delivers, I prefer Most Wanted.
The two main reasons are that in MW you would drive in daylight, and I like to see clearly what I'm doing; and that the cars weren't divided to tiers. I made a fantastic car in Carbon, mostly visually, but it's tier 1 and I simply can't take it any further technically. So far I'm managing but races are getting tight and the nitrous is running low.

Oh and canyon duel is simply annoying, one little mistake and you fall to your death and you need to play over both segments of the race. Also it seems that in those races that you can fall you have the least light.

Go Most Wanted, whooo!!!
