The Growing Forum

Wow I was online tonight and I checked on the who's online list and I saw that there were 23 guests on 5 of which were registering I thought that this was very exciting to see this forum growing so much and I though others might want to share there opinions on the growth of the forum.

Interesting idea, registering, eh? Well, hopefully they were actually registering, we tend to get webspiders around here...

Yes, there has been quite an amount of registrations yesterday, interesting to add that most have been filled in as well...

Ah well, still of the 700 odd members, about 50 are a bit active

All our members are running away because they ph34r Atre.

Nah, I think it grows so much because a.) we are the only multilingual () LBA site on the 'net b.) LBA is still popular in some places, regardless of time.

Although I dunno how many people still register just to chat...I think the whole year long spam argument has killed that.

Yeah, but it's a bit weird for me when I look and find that whenever I'm on, more guests are browsing than members. Or is that because I have no life. Ahhh. Sigh. But seriously I did find that a bit weird, it's the exact opposite on a lot of other forums I visit.

Yeah there do seem to be more guests than members nearly all the time here but now that I think about it I came to this site for more than a year before I registered so I shouldn't be suprised.

You spent a year posting without registering? I've seen a lot of people do that, but I don't know why, I always up registering first even if I don't post for the first few months.

me, i registered for the first time in 2001 with an other name. But i used only once and now, 2 years after, since last month, i really started to spend a part of my time on this forum which i greatly appreciate.
there are maybe many people who don't post here, but i think part of them will come back someday

Well, I registered twice before, but forgot the passwords, and then couldn't use my internet for nearly six months, so this account is pretty new.

That's kinda silly that you guys have more than one account, don't ya think? Would'nt it have been better to just email El Muerte rather than take a whole new account?

Yes, well I didn't really know much about the site when I first joined, so I didn't really know what to do. And after a period of six months without the internet, I just opened a new account.

yes perhaps, but it will be better either if we are allowed to delete our own account, or to rename it (i have changed mine cause i wanted a new member name)

do you think that el muerte could transfer my old acount towards my "neimad" one, then, delete it ? i could recover my old posts, doing that

Yeah, I would like to ask if I could delete my two old accounts, as because of them, I had to set up a whole new e-mail account to receive notification of my posts being respodned to.

Yes, deleting an account would mean all posts would be deleting as well, resulting into gaps and such. Not a good idea to do.

Besides, it doesn't really matter if an account isn't used or something, unlike most people here think, a 0-post account takes up barely any space (unlike my own )

Yes, but I would like to delete my old accounts, as they have 0-1 posts on them, and so I can use my regular e-mail address.
