Alpha Centauri, Worms Armageddon, Populous the Beginning.

I own an odd selection. Plus there are others, but I dunno if they're as good as LBA.

99% of the games I play are adventures, so I'll tell you about Gabriel Knight 3 (my fav, such a unique gaming experience), Grim Fandango, the Broken Sword series (especially 1), Sam & Max hit the road, Day of the tentacle...

and these are just a few "musts" for an advenure freak

My favorites are your choice!
If you like to drive trains: Microsoft Train Simulator
If you like real-time space strategy: Homeworld and it's trilogy
If you like comical and carribean adventure: Any of the four Monkey Island games (Two first are easily free available in the file-sharing program network like Kazaa or Overnet)
If you like a strategy game to build medieval cities and to conquer them: Anno 1602 (Or any other and older civilizations, try any from Impression Games.)
Someone mentioned Half-life?: Try Counter-Strike (actually it was never my favorite, I can't stand that adventure-less action game ), Team Fortress Classic (Neo-TF rules) or Sven Coop (Now that's some cooperational adventure mod I've ever played )
To adventure, to fight or to conquer: Try any Might and Magic games made by New World Computing.(WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH THE 3DO WEB??? )

Let me know if you're interested in any of these and send me a PM.

If you're talking about any other game than the second one, then die.

"Escape from Monkey Island" changed a little bit of my life. It was the most funniest game I've ever played. Arrr!

Did you mean HL has no story? HL has a great story. For a multiplayer you cant beat day of defeat HL mod - way better than CS - less poncing about!!
