Just one small comment about the Island across the Hacienda - you forgot to mention you don't have to go there in order to finish the game.

This is true. The Island across from the Hacienda is optional. BUT. Since this is supposed to be like a book that you could pick up and read ifyou were actually IN Twinsun, I decided that Twinsen DID go to the island and get the protection spell, just to make sure we had everything covered. It wouldn't look quite right if I added at the end, "This quest is optional" or something. I mean, yes, from the stand-point of players it's helpful to know that, but trying to avoid saying "the game" and what not is difficult. So, in conclusion, I didn't forget, I just didn't include because it wouldn't make sense.

Well, you could write something like "However, it is claimed that Twinsen didn't have to use the Protection Spell....."

Hmm... I see what you're saying. Well, perhaps it can be put in the description of the Protection Spell instead.

Snowboard(not on your site>objects)

[official]

When finding the snowboard

Quote:
The Kamis have given you a Snowboard.
Inventory description

Quote:
Snowboard. Can only be used in the Himalayi, near the ski lift. Place yourself in between any two flags before using.
[fan]

The snowboard is used at the ski summit.

[role]

Twinsen got the snowboard from the Kamis. He then could slide down from the hills. He had to stand between one of the four pairs of flags in order to do so. It didn't had any further purpose.

I don't see why we even have to note why a person must go to a place. Each place in the LBA is there for a reason. I'm fine with explaining those reasons and various importances they might have in the game, but pointing out whats nessassary and whats not is purely up to the reader.

Am I dreaming? This thread is still alive!

The articles aren't that good, however. Many details should be added. Check out other articles, especially by members who wrote lots of articles, like *cough* me *cough*.

Well, the editors should only edit some minor mistakes. These articles have many more problems than just "minor mistakes".

The Island Of The Celebration is a volcanic island. There is a volcano right in the middle of it. This is where Dark Monk emerges at the end of the game. Behind it is a gigantic crystal guarded by a gas monster that Twinsen took using his pick-ax to get a piece of it to operate his pisto laser.

Eh, what about the most important section there - the role? Celebration Island has an important role in Twinsen's adventure!

I have to agree with you on that one morshem. But wait, I swore that that article was already written. Oh well, must be something I mixed up. Don't worry, part of the editor's job is look for gaps and such. I'm sure this will be noted and someone (such as wacko) may log in to insert things he believes could be vital.

Gazogem: If I did it, it was only because they were misspelled. In this case, it wouldn't matter because homour and colour are just variants of the other words.

Sorry for deleting your posts, but this is not even a discussion thread, except for comments on the submitted articles.
I'm glad to see this thread still being active and overall ontopic though

Looks good Gaz, will be added asap (and so will the other articles up there).
