Twinsen`s tattoo

Hello all

I would like to have a LBA tattoo of Twinsen on my body, since LBA means a lot to me. For that I need good-quality pictures of him. Could you pls indicate a few for me?

Thanks!

T.

Most of the things there that say "image" should do.

Post pics after you do that

I think a tattoo should be considered carefully, because its something that is with you for life.

Don't act on impulse, but hey, people get all kinds of shit stitched into their skin.

Id want to see it if you ever get it done, thats for sure. I'd love to see what Fred's reaction would be of someone actually going ahead and doing this , heck it might even be the best thing for the lba3 campaign!

Heck, lets all get one! LBA3 Make it happen.

Heres a picture that has lba all in it, a cool looking twinsen, magicball and sendell's medallion...

I can understand your concerns about getting a tattoo of this nature. And you`re also right when you say ``people get all kinds of shit into their skins``. If you go to bmezine.com on tattoos/geek you`ll find some of this shit lol!

And that`s exactly the point: a tattoo itself, excluding all meaning it might have to a person, is nothing. Yeah, it`s only a drawing, ink inside levels of skin to which we attribute a meaning. At least for me, it doesn`t make me feel better or worse than anyone, neither make me hadouken-capable nor divine. Yet, it`s something I like and makes me smile when I stare at them, maybe because it works as a way to affirme yourself, everything you are or everything your pursuing to be in your life.

I don`t mean to be philosophyc, to the contrary, my intention is to show that ``it`s only a tattoo``. Maybe it`s surprising to listen to that, but it`s true. I guess thouse who have any ink understand me better. Of course not every tattoed person will share this same opinion, but thouse are more on the way.

This LBA tattoo issue came to be because I`ll start giving some guitar lessons to a friend who is so willing to learn the instrument. He`s a tattoo artist and he`s been insisting on tattooing me. Since I`m not teaching him waiting for any reward, and I could feel he was so spontaneous and really would like to give me a tattoo, I`m up for it. BUT, since I don`t really appreciate his personal drawings, Twinsen came to my mind as something he could easily tattoo on me with good results and yet as something I really would like to have.

I`m still thiking over all this stuff. Anyway, don`t expect anything big; I appreciate the fine art of real good and serious tattoo (LOL!), so I`m saving up skin space for it. That`s been a problem, because i want to place it on my body in a way it doesn`t fuck up future ink plans, and still couldn`t manage that. But this week I`m taking all the pictures you tipped me to that friend of mine and will ask him for suggestions.

I never imagined there were so many other admirors of Twinsen around the world, nor have I ever imagined you had any kind of relationship to this guy who conceived the game (Am I right, the french guy?). It would be fun to present the tattoo to him once it`s done, but probably he`d just take me as a huge idiot LOL! But if this tattoo issue makes me happy and, above all, if it might make all of you also happy by helping to convince the company to design LBA3, why not?

Wait for news. Thanks to all of you, you`re very kind people.

I generally dislike tatoos, there are some exceptions tough, but they have to be small, seen only in intimate situations, not too extravagant, with a lot of taste and mastery in them. I think that colouring you're whole body is just tasteless and non estethic.

I absolutly adore tatoos. If my religion hadnt forbidden me, my entire upper body would be covered in them 2morrow. (That dosnt stop me from using a pen every now and then to draw a tattoo on my arm )

I've actually began thinking about doing this myself.
Not something big, but something small, on the forearm. Perhaps sendells medallion. It would look quite nice, I think.

I've already decided that I'm going to make a Q3 logo on my forearm this summer, preferably on my right arm, in approximately 2,5cm X 2,5cm.

If that turns out nicely, I'll see if I want to do the LBA related one. Preferably on my left forearm. Perhaps on an entirely different place, it all depends.

I'll make a thread about this, or perhaps post here, when the time has come.

Tattoo's can look great. Some look shit though.

Get a small Sendell's medallion on your shoulderblade/upper arm I think. That'd look good.

The game makers will either be really honored by this or they'll laugh their butts off.
