Problem with a door in LBA 1

Hey there, just as many like you, I recently bought LBA 1 on GOG.com.
Still, I have a problem that looks more like a bug to me.
On the Principal Island, I need to enter a lab that is kept by a rabbibunny clone, and then by a supergro that immediatly appears after you defeat the first clone. Once the groboclone is knocked out, i take the key he left, but the doors of the lab won't open, even though I can hear the sound of the opening doors. Do I need to install some kind of patch or did I do something wrong?

This bug has been reported before. After the doors don't open, go to the Holomap or read the Book of Bù, that should fix it.

You usually just need to wait a minute or so, and the door will eventually open.

Really weird bug that is. How come it doesn't happen anywhere else in the game, and only in this specific place?

It messes up the color scheme completely. I wish there was a YouTube video I could show you, but the "intelligent" search which always assumes that I must be looking for something else if I enter a topic that's not common, makes it impossible to find one >_>

Also got that problem, but my problem's been solved by now, thanks again!

BTW, this has nothing to do with LBA 1, but right after I bought LBA2 on GOG, I tried to find the bonus content but couldn't find it? What should I do?

I also had it back when I was using one of Funnyfrog's patches.

Weird thing that happenned to me, in the museum there were a lot of barrels around the emergency exit, They aren't here in my CD version. I'll try to post a screenshot.

You can enter the museum through the front entrance after buying a ticket. Then the rabbibunny will push the alarm button, and a supergro will appear in the telepod. This is when you should be really quick! If you start running up the stairs you can be faster than the supergro's bullet which follows the same path as you take. When you get near the treasure chest, you can get the key qucikly, then jump and take the sewer grate. This way you can break into the museum without having the red card. The problem is, you will never be offered the red card after that, and you will be stuck once you encounter a gate which can only be opened with the red card.

In the floppy version (dated 1995), they modified the grid of the museum to include those barrels around the sewer grate. This way you must take the path between the barrels and this considerably slows you down (remember, you would originally get hit when running into a barrel), thus you can't be quick enough to leave the scene without the supergro's bullet hitting you.

Yeah, LBAWin has nothing to do with that actually.

There's a patch in the downloads section of the site that prevents the red card bug from happening.

That simply includes the grids file from the floppy version (LBA_GRI.HQR).

Must be something hard-coded, beacuse the bug doesn't exist in LbaWin, and it uses the same .HQR's (except for midi_mi_win.hqr but that's not relevant here).

How can you outrun the supergro? The treasurechest is really far away and the supergro comes already when you are not even slightly past the first stairs :/

Don't head for the treasure chest. Head for the elevator to the sewers! That's after all what you need the red card for - to move the elevator to the sewer level, so you can enter the museum after setting off the alarm in the prison. The key can only be robbed when the museum is dark.
