Unreal Tournament 2004 installs and works on Linux, except level editor, I tried it myself and it works!

This OS uses PBI self-contained installers for its all software, so it is unique UNIX where software is installed as in Windows, without packages and their dependency hell!

Have you tried NixOS? Sounds like it tries to solve the same problem, but it's in very active development and has many fans.

NixOS still does NOT use real self-contained PBI installers, but makes applications from sub-packages, only allowing different sub-package versions simultaneously there. My PC-BSD 8.2 is perfectly compatible with Unreal Tournament 2004 linux installer, and does have slightly above 400 applications, each in single PBI fatty installer. Compatibility is with all 32 bit linux software without dependencies.
