Last Resistance!

Hey guys,

wow it's going fast lately. I'm on fire with production...

any opinions? I took SGK's advice and instead of composing with the mouse, I just played in the lead with my keyboard. Makes it more alive I guess..

I'm not too found of your work in general but this one is quite catchy I must say

Nice to hear that, Jesse! It gives another vibe doesn't it?

If I were to resume this piece of music into one word, it would be " Fugacious ".

I've started to enjoy it only after 2:08 when the beat strikes in.
And then, it ends too fast, right when it became better and better: those very last seconds between 2:32 and 2:48 were actually the most enjoyable, because I liked the minimalistic thing, the constant beat+bass snatching the listener into a trance while a vague melodic piece is going on with the synth, in the background, almost unnoticeable. I guess that was not your intention when making the song, but in my opinion, it's actually the part that should've been expanded!

sgk: Think of it this way: it's like a message in a bottle. In our world, we put a message inside a bottle to protect it while it travels through the oceans to reach some other island. In other worlds, they put a message inside an asteroid to protect it while it travels through space to reach some other planet. In this case it is a gift, a guitar, rather than just a message.

(Then again, I'm currently learning a bunch of Beatles and other 60's songs to play with me band for a retro-concert that'll happen in a few days, so I'm not really into the "electronic experimental" mood right now, and my current opinion might not be entirely fair to what you did. )

No you are right, this is actually just the intro!
Awesome that you picked that up, but hey, you are a fellow composer

Actually the song is kind of me being angry and sort of defiant, but expressed in a calm way. I like that. The second part of the tune will be mote minimalistic with just a piano reprising the main melody over the repetive loop..making it more balanced.

Good times! Been listening through your YouTube account rigorously for a little while now, and it's great to see how you evolve - and how much music you have actually made. Keep 'em coming

Man, you're doing better and better. That stuff can increase someone's creativity. I'd listen to this track while jogging
