Quite, the thing is that it was orginal for LBA 2,5 but since that didn't get quite far... well, you can draw your own conclusion

It's not finished, I made it together with Evil T and Kadero, but since we had no faith in the project, it was halted.

Still, if your project is going steady and such, just ring a bell, I personally think it already looks good, but that's just me

Texture makers, it's not a really interesting job : that's why nobody wants to do it, and if the project must fail a few months later like a big part of the lba projects...

This is really going somewhere. It's awsome, jaws dropped. )Though I only have one ) I would gladly help and do anything I can, but what could I do? I mean what are you in need of, cuz if you need some genius I might not be it.

The screens are cool, clean and nice. The cairs are a bit small though in my opinion. I only said that cuz I can't find anything bad so far. Great job! Woooooo!

Hi guys

Here a next screen of my work.
I'm looking for a better textures for floor and wall
Post me whatever you think fits better.
Format has to be BMP and size 256*256, high res

As you can see I want to keep the progress running. End 2003 is not soo far away and that is indeed my target date to fully complete!
First animations where added to previous screens, but I'm not yet happy with them, so they will need some extra tuning

What I look for are enthousiastic people for helping me with about everything (modelling, screen play, story, voice recording, texture making, text writer, animation srcipting, effect adding, improvements on lighting etc...) Good knowhow of Milkshape and RF are a plus.

Anybody interested can send me your application by a private message. As many projects die here, and I don't want to be part of this set, I'll have to set up some rules, to ensure promisses are kept. Guess everybody will understand this.

By end of the weekend I'll try to get the next screen shot done

This project looks very nice. But don't think that if you got some visuals and some rooms set up together, you will make the whole game so fast. A good story, music, textures and models will take much more time than the whole other lot of things. And belive me, no one here is dedicated enough to make models for you in big stocks. Besides, there are not much free 3D modellers here, the most are on other jobs or at RMP.

So trust only yourself on LBA projects.

Well, it shouldnt be impossible to share textures between the RMP & this.
We both need textures, and its easy to reduce res for real-time use....

looks kewl, jeep up the good work and you'll maybe be the creator of the first finished LBA project over (and maybe the last one btw)

Well textures are annoying me a lot for the RMP, it'll be THE bug....HQ textures are easy to find, but not LBAish ones...

It's a pitty to hear people can not bring up the dedication any more to engage for a common goal. Anyway, I a struggler and will not so fast give up.

I can live without support in modelling or mapping, this I will manage. The weakest parts from my side are a good consistent story, different spoken voices and textures

Believing in the impossible and never thinking never, I just hope that still anybody in this huge world exists who is ready to share a fantastic story with me

I guess so, but for being sure, you best can ask it to "dairyman" or "gekido"on the RF forum. Especially "dairyman" knows the engine very very well

I know...maybe I should write a tutorial on how to "LBA-ify" an existing texture.

I did it in a few case's (the temple, the sewer).
Most were edited general textures mixed with colours taken from screenshots

There are plenty of things to be done !

Already check all screens posted and come up with some great voices/conversations for Twinsen and the other actors you can see. In need text + voice (in .WAV files), of course in English

The best versions posted I will implement !

Well, it's beautiful, but I dont understand at all...why are you remodelling the LBA2 world ? I thought you made a new game, not a remake of LBA2, so you should create new areas of Twinsen/zeelich/green moon instead of copying LBA2. You know, some areas may be the ones of he old LBAs but they'll hve evoluated anyway so there is no point in making an exact copy of the first episode
You should model the new zeelich, underground parts of the emerald moon....

Well it's not so hard to find a new storyline, if I were you I'd be too happy to bbe able to make twinsen do anything I want. Anyhow use Atre's scripts, and addd your own ideas.
I've got an awesome original script, but too bad it's forr a FF-style adventure, wont fit

DF - yep LBAish texture tutorials asap would be sweet
