Aw, thank you! Let's all dance in the fountain of joy! (no, the water in the fountain is not red, yet another proof of red != joy)

The most evil colour combination would without hesitation be red and black. Which is yet another proof of red being evil! Don't get me wrong, I love red. I love guts, gore, blood and to taste the legs of the little children! So, yes, the colour of red is partially the colour of love. But not the kindof love you'd expect.

Yellow and orange symbolizes heat, and therefore, possibly, love.

Now, back onto track. The avatars will never be widened unless an extremely good arguement is provided, the same goes to signature images. I vote for keeping the MBN clean from all that untidyness!
Besides, the avatars has been widened once before, it need not to be widened again.

I am just being unconventional, what is wrong with that?

For me, a combination of red, yellow and orange symbolizes love. Possibly with a splash of green on the side.
Plain red, or red and black combined, symbolizes mass slaughter for me.

The avatars were widened because it made sense for them to be 'widescreen'. Nowadays theres massive TVs with massive displays in households everywhere, the avatars should follow.

(I decided I'll not bother editing that post otherwise no one's gonna end up reading it..)

Now, tell me, why would you want 'super widescreen'? It just doesn't make sense.
If you are to draw this parallel with TVs, think about it for a second. TVs with 'super widescreen' would look dumb, now, wouldn't it?

I love the current limitation of 106x60 pixels.

TVs don't need a height restriction to make it so you dont scroll more

Oh dear, go fetch your well deserved 6 pixels, before they are sold-out! There's only a limited amount of pixels in store, atm

You know, in my lesson we were asked what do you think about when you hear the color 'Red' or 'Blue'. Many colors have different messages, and that's how the graphic communication works.

After thinkin I've came to a conclusion that my best avatar size would be a bit like 140/91 or something like that. I probably wouldn't use the whole size, like I am now using it now, but it would be nice to have some more content there.

Anyways mine's was no proposal, I was just saying what space would be best specifically for me, to have much content in a not too big space, a bit more than an icon.

Gash, people, those are just avatars. Why the hell do you care so much about them? Do as much as you can with what's possible, and that's it. It's not like it's 30x30 or something like that.

Anyway, I'm going to post this on the vbulletin "hack" site and maybe someone will write a plugin for it. If such a plugin is installed I will install it with signature behavior set to "2"
any luck?
