Okay, but Fred's answer was really short. Just a senctence.

Anyway, I sent:

Quote:
Dear Fréderick Raynal,
I am a fan of your games and I'd like to ask you about the recent update on the Ludoïd website. You created a lot of speculation with this image on the MBN (Magicball Network). A lot of people think that the image of the slate means that LBA3 is coming. I believe it's your undislosed project at Ubisoft, but the two can be the same. What's the truth? When will you reveal the game's name?
Thank you in advance,

<my real name>
your fan & MBN member

PS: I don't mind if you only can answer in French.
He answered:

Quote:
Hi <my name>,

No it's not LBA3.

Regards,
Frederick.

He probably keeps the name of his new game secret on purpose. Maybe he can't tell it because Ubisoft told he so.

Shame. Odd too, why the image and the literal mention of the slate? Taking that both the domain registation and the image creation date are old it's not a random mistake.
I didn't reply here yet but it seemed almost clear to me.
Ah well, perhaps he will make enough out the next thing to get LBA3 done.

Dang.

Well look at the bright side, Fred actually said "LBA3". ... even if it was preceded by "No it's not".

If it really was LBA3 would you really think he'd use a hardly used inventory only present in LBA2? Instead of something more common to both games?

Why couldn't it be so? It could be a message meant to the fans only or simply he couldn't have found any better item that is "writeable".

Well, this doesn't mean LBA3 will never be made. Hopefully, after this project (which is finally nearing completion), Fred's next one will be LBA3. And I think we shouldn't only hope. Let's MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I think renesans is right
Fred's popularity is rising and now that he's making all this projects it's time to shove LBA3 up ubisoft's ass till they scream "OKAY OKAY WE'LL MAKE IT!"
lmao

LtDemolition: Really? he is making Assassin's Creed 2? that's a great game dude i loved the first part

If LBA3 will be made, the original Adeline team (Fred, Didier, Sebastien, etc.) should make it. Ubisoft is good for publishing the game, but nothing more. If Fred's new Ubisoft game will be successful, I'm sure he can convince Ubisoft to publish LBA3.

I hope it will be a adventure/action game (i.e. more adventure than action).
There's a real shortage on that

Me:

Quote:
Dear Frederick, is the slate representing LBA 3 yay or nay?
Frederick:

Quote:
Yay! Fo sho
See, it's that easy to make something up....

But this is just me desperately wanting lba 3 so im just lying to myself :/

I think the better way to now what will the game be is to wait. Anyway, it's seems that Anakin will have to post a picture of his end.

Yes. I did really think that. Like i said both in word and image it's brought. And looking at the dates (and noticing Fred is a artist) makes clear it had an idea behind it.

Anyway, I'll take Ren's word for it.

Following what Renesans said, I tried to get Fred's email. Took me less than a minute

Yes, it's easy, I googled *something* and it was on the first page.

I don't know how often he uses that address, though. Maybe I was just lucky he checked in less then an hour.

Oh, I did something else. I think it's his only email though, I reckon I've seen it before. (assuming we are talking about the same email, lol).

If you mean the one mentioned here, then I think he stopped using that years ago.
