LBA for XP and Vista from ClassicPatch
I was just wondering if anyone had seen this website: http://www.classic-patch.com/store/p...FQ6tQwodQTWh_g



Basically I saw this in the little ads at the corner of the screen by google. Being a curious little bunny I clicked the link and you can have an instant download of Vista & XP compatible LBA if you want it.
This information would probably be good for those people who want to know where to get their hands on LBA. The advert says that it's LBA2, but it is just Relentless, they don't offer LBA2

Looks to me like they're tricking people into paying them for a warez (illegal) download and a patch. That's worse than downloading the game for free in my opinion.

A Scam is a kind of a deception under false conditions.
Mostly money is the problem, like tiny characters in a contract.
But online you can get hacked or private info can be collected by others.
Especially MMORPG's are familliure with this.

I just noticed this myself too, I suspect they are using our free patchs as well.

If we cant legaly distribute LBA1 for free, and (as I highly suspect) no one involved in either the development or publishing of LBA is getting money from classic-patch, I think ¨Something should be done¨

Wait a mo...looking at the FAQ they are saleing the patch, and provideing a ¨backup¨ copy.

2) Once the patch has been downloaded, you have 2 options, you can install the game from the cd, or, you can download a backup* of the game which has been made to make it easier for you to install..

4) Follow the insructions within the patch program (4 easy steps) and then enjoy playing your classic game!

preconfigured dosbox is about as easy as anything could get.
