"SPOILERS!"Blizzard game endings "SPOILERS!"
I just completed warcraft 3: the frozen throne, and like starcraft: brood war, it had a sad and weird ending, with plenty of lose ends.
But why doesn't blizzard finish their story's?, why don't they make another add-on for starcraft and warcraft? or make a seqeul. oh yeah, did lord of destruktion have an unfinished ending to? |

because they're sadists... I think in a way they want to keep everything open so mod(ule) makes and such can unleash their own thoughts about it. Also that everything will be open for games like World of Warcraft and the coming Warcraft RPG (based on 3rd D&D rules). After all, nothing is so boring as in playing in a world where the most exiting thing already ended, and who knows, what if that Lichking is going to stay there for 1000 years... I'll shut up now

Warcraft RPG? hehe... I honestly don't know how I feel about that, I think that it won't be too good, because:
1) Many moddable RPGs (like Neverwinter Nights) already have or have in development a warcraft mod. 2) The main chracter would be difficult to pick, and they would also need to re-write the storyline. 3) Warcraft's world may work as an MMORPG, but as a regular RPG I think there will be something missing from it, I don't know what, but I think there will be difficulties translating a RTS into an RPG, although it can be done. |

Quote:
gustav sweden: warcraft 3 ended with the death of Lord archimond (RIP!) the demon lord or something. But prince Arthars didn't die, and in the nightelf campaign, the nightelfs, let out some demon hunter called Illian, he turned evil and ran away from the land kalimdor. The frozen throne ended with the death of Illidian, in a batttle against "King" Arthas, who then (in a great movie) releashes the lich king and fuses with him. Then you see Arthas sitting in the frozen throne, while the camera zooms out. The End...? |
