The reason that i wanted some screenies, were that i cant use the programs, cause i dont use Windows And i didnt want to try it out on my littlesisters computer.. Maybe i'm just lazy i dunno.. I always like to see what i download before i do it

That's great! Make it able export GIF or/and PNG and it will be plain perfect
And you call it 0.03? How modest

I assume you can label it "version 1.0 (release 3)". That what some programs do.
Same for Zink's LBA Package Editor btw.

Ok, a new version was release again. I change the version and put it like it was the 3 release, instead of 4.

LBA Screen Viewer v1.1 (release 5)

New version release...



Changes:

[#] v1.1 (release 5) (05.01.2005):

Change a bit the look.

- [Added] Tool bar. (Icons provided by Zink)
- [Added] Settings menu for file association. You can now open the files directly with the program.

- [Fixed] Some things in the Save/Open Dialogs.

- [Removed] Message to identify if the file reading is for LBA1 or LBA2. Now its automatic. (thanks to Zink)


Things TODO:

- Feature to open the LBA1 FLA movies.
- Feature to open the LBA2 SMK movies.
(help is welcome)

This program is now full compatible with LBA Package Editor Tool Options.
You configure it for the followings extensions:
- *.lim
- *.pal
- *.lsp
- *.lsr
- *.brk

And take a look at the new Settings menu to associate the files with the program.

If something is missing/wrong or you have new suggestions just post it here.

The best I can do is send you the complete Smacker 2 package.

Edit: Alexfont, mind if you also add .PCX support?

Yeah, I've access to the TwinEngina opensource. The problem is that he use some libraries that I don't wanna use, but I'll see what I can do.

Probably for smk its more difficult because I can't even find the file format.

- alexfont: I know something about the .SMK file format:

It consists from three parts:
1. The Smacker version identifier. There are only 3 variants of it: SMK1, SMK2, and SMK4. LBA 2 uses SMK2 (Smacker version 2 format).
2. The header. It specifies (in the following order): Audio resources and Frames (images).
3. The data.

Do this:
Using SmkTools, compile a smacker file with one 320x200 image, uncompressed, and with a Windows .WAV file, uncompressed. If possible, of course.

AlexFont: I made that multi-opening thing in PackEd (not released yet), but your program has a bug in that matter. When I try to open lim and pal file together by dragging them on the executable, it opens the palette file only.

Yeah, my mistake. Was because I had the condition to open a single palette first and he didn't go to the lim image condition.

Give me at least 10 good reasons to install Windows? I see none.. I could proberly make that application run in some emulator, otherwise if i really wanted to play with it, i would just use vmware.. and lots of
