because according to the muslim calendar, we are in 1431. so I thought you meant that Fred meant 2010 according to the muslim calendar

If you look at the source of the page, it's pointing to file:///W|/Ludo%C3%AFd/SiteWeb/Boutons/voeux.jpg instead of http://ludoid.fr/Boutons/voeux.jpg

it maybe comes from "ludique" which means related to a game in a playing and enjoying way.

The board picture from Fred's project is named THI.png and is from Ubisoft.
That person worked on the project until 2008 and the development started in 2006.

think about it. Too much coincidence for me.

... may be it will be a good MMO... I don't play those games

If I remember correctly, I also recall Fred saying that the game was for PC (but this was a few years ago).

Edit: Here's some info on the game taken from an interview with Fred (note that this info may be dated as it is 3-4 years old):
