Little Big Adventure in Minecraft

Hello everybody!

I have been thinking about making Citadel Island from Little Big Adventure (Relentless) to Minecraft, and since I love both games it's really fun to do it too But then I came up with the awesome idea of making the whole Twinsun (Atleast everything you see in the game). So I have pretty much stuff ahead of me!
So how this thread will work out is that I will post videos and screenshots every now and then to update you guys on the project. I will make a new reply saying I have updated the first thread so you guys can easier keep an eye on what have happened so far

So this is the first update - I have completed Citadel Island, except for all the houses.
Watch the video! watch?v=DJGmsUDggyk

Ofcourse I would like you guys to say what you think of it, does it look good? Should I change something?
Also, I'm making this on a server, and once I feel confident enough I can give you guys the IP for the server, but the server is only up when I'm on it.
You need Minecraft to play ofcourse.

Woah! I'm really impressed that you managed that in Minecraft. Looks really good! How long did that take you?

To make the Island took about 1 day in total. Much time goes into counting each block and making it right. But the houses will take much, much longer to make, atleast thats what I expect...

Dont know If you've ever had a server on minecraft but there is a server mod called bukkit, and with it you can install very handy plugins such as for example teleports. Without teleports I cant enter the buildings.

There are no plugins like this for Singleplayer.
And its pretty clear why I'm not using a Public Server, people will destroy what I've built, server could maybe shut down or other stuff.

Thank you all for the nice comments

Please don't use copyrighted music on your videos. It makes them blocked in Germany and using HideMyAss is a pain in itself. Video game music is fine, but everything from Sony will kill the video.

Have you tried the Firefox-Add-On Stealthy?
Compared to other proxis it's really comfortable and mostly pretty fast.

Sorry to here that, I actually thought that I would be using music from the LBA but it didnt really fit of how I wanted it to.

Is minecraft worth it's 15$ ? I'm afraid that it's too similar to Terraria, in wich case it's price is too jigh for me...

Actually it costs 15€ which is quite a bit more than $15.

I just checked out a review of Terraria and it does look strikingly similar. Minecraft is 3D sure. And it's also possible to mod the crap out of it - something I am blindly guessing isn't possible with Terraria considering it works on Steam.

It's possible to mod it somehow, like changing texture, make water drop from the sky, things like that. Nothing as big as making a portal gun, like there is in minecraft.

hmz...I wonder how much you could mod Minecraft to be close to LBA.
Doing the magic ball would be out the question - but you might be able to get the projectile weapons done.

There are millions of mods for Minecraft! There is even someone who is making a pokemon mod, where you will be able to catch pokemon with a pokeball and have pokemon fights. Your pokemon will level up and stuff like that xD. Thats just one example.
Im not good at coding yet but it is possible to make a magic ball

Also, YES, minecraft is worth the 15€, just all the things you can do on it, terraria is limited to 3 different sizes but minecraft is unlimited, (about 8 times the earth).
I've owned Minecraft a little more then a year now ^^

...? The magic ball could work just like throwing an egg works, except with you keeping it in your inventory.

I saw quite a few mods but I didnt notice any proper bouncing off walls, hence why I thought that would be too hard.
