I got homebrew. I use it mostly to play old nes and snes games. Emulators work pretty well for the old games. Except n64. Those tend to lag pretty bad.

Not surprised - N64 is a pretty hard system to emulate. Had some rather funky/oddball internal hardware. For VC Nintendo uses game-specific emulators to get stuff to work.

I remember playing mario 64, superman and ocarina of time with no problems at all... try a better configuration and/or emulator. I did that 5 or 6 years ago, and Nowedays it's possible to emulate almost all ps2 games, and those are quite harder I guess

Ill admit I tried to play pokemon snap and I couldn't even get the camera to move. So disappointing. I used to love that game when I was little.

Its somewhat easier on PC, but its not all about power. Even the SuperFX/Mode7 stuff used to cause problems on early snes emulators.
Its to do with the unique features of the hardware that dont have a direct equivalent on the chip your (really) using. So its heavily game dependent.
The PS2 was also quirky though to some extent.
Regarding the N64 I seem to remember Majoras Mask and Rogue Squadron had a lot of problems.

I am sure they are all fixed now, but some stuff takes wayyyy longer then others to get working.
*wonders if Shemnue2 is emulated yet*

Nintendo TV ? what's that ?
By the way, I recently acquired a DSTWO, quite an awesome linker
emulates gba and super nintendo almost perfectly, it needs a very small amount of frameskip, but still playable.

The Nintendo Video channel on the 3DS I meant. Gives you 4 random 3d videos each week.
Used to be crap, but actually we have been getting good stuff recently - Short indie animated films and such.

Tell me, if I use the 3ds transfer function on it from a dsi to a 3ds, can I play that Zelda on both or only the 3ds ?

Going by logic, I'm pretty sure that as soon as you transfer data to another machine the original files get erased, or else people would be able to share games for free endless times by using this function.

There could be some sort of cripting though that allows you to link together only the same 3ds/dsi, thus preventing you from giving to others.

Wut? It wasn't THAT hard It's the only one which caused my death during the first try though, didn't expect it to have a limited number of turns.
