I don't understand why some people see this photo as a hoax. Everything is just fine, no shadows are misaligned.

You don't have the mind of a conspiracy theorist.

On Thursday, February 15th 2001 (and replayed on March 19), the Fox TV network aired a program called ``Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?'', hosted by X-Files actor Mitch Pileggi. The program was an hour long, and featured interviews with a series of people who believe that NASA faked the Apollo Moon landings in the 1960s and 1970s. The biggest voice in this is Bill Kaysing, who claims to have all sorts of hoax evidence, including pictures taken by the astronauts, engineering details, discussions of physics and even some testimony by astronauts themselves. The program's conclusion was that the whole thing was faked in the Nevada desert (in Area 51, of course!). According to them, NASA did not have the technical capability of going to the Moon, but pressure due to the Cold War with the Soviet Union forced them to fake it.

Those same theories were also completely destroyed by discovery channel.

Well, I mean the picture has been proven to be plausible. It has been said there are shadows in this picture that are not correctly aligned, but discovery proved that nothing was in fact misaligned, and that shadows could form this way.

I think it was a fox documentary that kickstarted the whole conspiracy.

Ah well

Conspiracies are fine, I just get bored with the exact same ones appearing time and time again. Wheres the conspiracy that we already went to Mars?

Anyway, heres pictures of the Moon Landing site from orbit:
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LR...llo-sites.html
Of course, those could be faked too, I am sure

The moon is a lie! It doesn't exist, it was invented by the evil cult known as Lunatics who believe there is a celestial body orbiting the Earth. That's of course all propaganda by the government

I believe there is a reactor on the dark side of the moon. Funfrock lives there. We must stop him.

Come to think of it. The Moon itself is perfect proof that crashing a mere moon into a planet doesn't destroy it.

It wouldn't destroy a planet (due to it having a much smaller size then earth, for example) but would act like the meteor that killed all the dinossaurs; it would kill everything on the place it crashed, and then send so much dust to the atmosphere that the world would go into the ice age again and we would all die. Plants wouldn't be able to get enough sunlight aswell, so most of those would also die...

In LBA2 we can see that the moon completely destroys Twinsun. But I think it is proportionally way bigger than our moon, It's about half the side of Twinsun.

Actually, there's been a theory that our moon, is actually the planet that collided with Earth millions of years ago, even before the dinos. The pre-moon planet completely destroyed itself on our lovely world, that wasn't just that yet, and the left over of the other rock was left for dust. And then after another long time that dust came to collide on itself again just like how planets come to exist around young stars. Gravity will pull everything together and it formed the not-yet-cratered ball that we see every day, but now lots of rocky rain made its smooth surface, rather uneven..

That's what I was refering to. There's speculation that the object that hit Earth to produce the moon was about as big as Mars - now you can calculate how much damage a puny little moon would do if it hit Earth.

FunFrock's goal, after all, isn't to kill all Twinsunians. He wants to destroy the planet to get access to its core, where the Stellar Entity rests. I don't believe an object as big as Emerald Moon would have the chance to do that.

I don't think you can say that. Even if a mars-sized planet would have been able to destroy this planet, doesn't mean our moon cannot aswell.

But it will depend on speed as well. The moon hasn't got enough speed at this point to do that kind of damage. But the Emerald Moon, with those powerful reactors, may have.

I can't follow your train of thought.

Did you say:
If a mars-sized object was able to destroy Earth
then
The Moon could as well.

Or something like that?

Aye. Almost.
I meant, if something of that size would have been able, the moon could have as well. Simply because we have no idea of the smallest size of an object before it actually destroys our planet.
We can only know that an object of at least the size of mars, could do it.

No, the general theory is that an object of at least the size of Mars collided with Earth, destroyed itself but not Earth, and caused a chunk of Earth to get sent into space where it eventually cobbled together, becoming the Moon.

I would like to point out, unlike earth, Twinsun is hollow. So in order to destroy the planet, the moon need, only destroy the planets outer layer.
