Probably we could, but that would take alot of effort, besides, people like myself who are doing the voice acting don't know many languages (i.e. I myself am really only possible of doing English and Latin )

We could dub it, but that would probably be more for the DVD version.

Yeah, we don't have enough people who could speak the same language (except maybe Dutch or Hebrew), but that would mean a whole new audiotion which would be pretty time consuming...

Well just know that I'm 100% of the unification of the earth languages, I wont feel more happy than when a kind of english will be the unique language spoken on that planet.

But anyway, I want the RMP movie to be accessible for the more possible people, so yes there'll be traductions. We cant make the full voices in several languages, it'd be too long and hard to find enough actors for each language, and the lip sync would suffer a lot of that. And furthermore it'd help people sticking to their poor birh language.

But I just think to the creation of diferent subtitles, for different languages. I could occupy myself of making subtitles for the french language, it wouldnt be that long. It'd give the possibility to the illiterate people to watch the movie, and I think listening to english sentences while reading the meaning of them is an excellent way to learn the english

We don't have to do voice auditions. Ever heard of subtitles? I learn translation, so I volunteer to do the subtitles in Hebrew. All I need is the script (which isn't even half done).

If people are skilled enough to browse the internet, I think they are also skilled enough to understand an English movie.

But on the other hand, the sub idea is great. And it's not that hard to make sub-titles.

The french education systemm doesnt teach englisg properly imo
There are no problems for all what's text, but I dunno if I would understand all the english voices (especially with the accents...). Well, actually in Taizé I had no problems to speak with polish people in english...but anyway subtitles will make all more handy for most people.

But it's sure that for the people of that forum and those that know a little english, english subtitles would be widely enough to properly understand the movie

That's it, let's make a version with english subtitles first, it'll open the film to most of the people, and then we'll see if it's worth making subtitles in other languages, I'll make one in french in any case for the guys around me.
Mephisto - it's easier to have a gfrench movie, but it's far les interessant about lerning new words and phrases

No, I think it would be much easier to translate it from the script itself, because that way I can know exactly what I need to translate, and also I can translate much faster, using Babylon.

Only one question - how do you spell Twinsen and Twinsun in Hebrew so that they are not the same spelling?

Morshem - no no I meant, with the script only, you wont be able to subtitle anything, cause subtitles basically have to be applied on a video, and without the movie file you wont have anything to apply and synchronize your subtitles on

Mephisto -> Hébreu

Morshem - I hadnt thought to that
Well you'll use the good old "Twinsen" and "Twinsun" in your subtitles, people are supposed to know english enough to pronounciate them, no ?

You don't understand the problem. Hebrew has no vowels. Therefore, Twinsen and Twinsun would be spelled exactly the same.

And about the script - I don't even know how to put them on the video, so just send me the script whenever it's ready, and I'll send you the translation (+ a Hebrew font).

I know very well about the vowels problems in hebrew, that's why you should use the english fonts and use the english spelling of "Twinsen and " Twinsun"

I also dont know how to subtitle a movie, but I'll simply learn, some programs must do that quite easily, it should be long but easy
