Narbacular Drop

Narbacular Drop is a short but interesting puzzle game, very similar to Portal, which is also made by the same company. The plot of the game is that you control a young Princess (THIS IS NOT A GIRLY GAME! ) who is unable to jump. The princess is captured by a demon and placed in a special dungeon that is able to create portals on it's walls. You must use this portal making skill to exit the dungeon, but dangers are found in the rooms of the dungeon. The game was released by Nuclear Monkey Software.

This game is free, and can be downloaded from http://www.nuclearmonkeysoftware.com...culardrop.html.

This game is very short, so I recommend downloading some custom maps from here after you finished the main game. (To play the custom maps, you'll need to download the Map Loader. Instructions are in the zip.) I recommend playing the Dungeon Pack or any single map. I do not recommend playing the UltimateND pack, as my PC crashed while trying to play it.

You really should give this game a try.

I know. Still, you wouldn't find any other game that's very similar to these two games.

Edit: There, I fixed the first post.

Let's rephrase then; it was unique.

Yeah, ND was cool, but it needed an ending. Its more like a tech demo/proof of concept then a game because of that.

I finished Portal yesterday, it's much more fun and tricky than Narbacular Drop and there are some funny things that GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System, the computer that guides you through the game, but is quite evil) says while you try to escape the laboratory.

I have noticed a few glitches in ND, one of them happens if you sometimes stand inbetween the two portals, you'll fall through the ground to death and you'll have to start the puzzle over.

Now playing Narbacular Drop, awesome

Not as good as portal, but it's so good to play another Portal game.

XD Yeah, VERY short game. You should play the Dungeon Pack. It's pretty good, but a bit glitchy.

Very nice game, I'm downloading the map pack now. Its essentially a Portal clone, but a fairly well-done one.
