Real Life Locations that Resemble LBA

Ever been somewhere that resembles a location from LBA? The other day I explored a beautiful island off Ireland and found a lighthouse 'at the end of the island'. It started to rain and there was even a married couple reading the sign post. It was an incredible feeling. For a moment I thought I was inside LBA2.

Waiting for Ralph the lighthouse keeper.

When I turned around the mist was starting to clear and I could see another island close by - The Island of the Dome of the Slate.

...Wow... ...Amazing...

I feel the energy of the Sendells. I love this thread. thanks for sharing your post!

There are many members on the forums that speculate Italy to be an inspiration for the architecture in LBA1.

I've noticed that the landscapes of the Azores islands resemble parts of LBA2. For example the hilly landscape below reminds me of the island across from the Hacienda.

Djpalmer, your picture reminds me more of the grassy hills on the north side of Citadel Island. Either way, it works.
