Oh, ok! And actually, let me change that request then... how about a drawing of me, polaris and jesse, sort of to represent our musicians convo, each of us holding our instruments sort of like this montage I made once? That'd be great... ^^

The shadows are very neat in this one, indeed. I fail to understand the reference though...

The title kinda gives it away...
It's inspired by a picture of a french general calling for resistance through the radio during ww2.

Thank you for your comments and your support.
I'm sorry if I didn't post anything yesterday, I had no access to the web.

SGK-> I didn't do the whole background, but I still thought of your guitarist as you can see. I was in a café when I did this drawing and I had forgotten to take some paper with me so I used a beer mat for it. I hope you'll still enjoy it.

FOr the members who didn't get the reference of the previous picture, it was based on the french general Charles De Gaulle who broadcast a message to France from England to call for resistance. http://www.google.fr/imgres?um=1&saf...9,r:1,s:0,i:85

And don't worry about the next drawing, it should be done today.

PS: I have to give credit to Fanlba for giving me the idea to make a colored picture each sunday, just as I did for the Grobo. But I don't think I'll carry on with this habit though.

Oh wow! He's got so much style! Thanks! And that black leather jacket... the way his ears are kind of "cool"... reminds me of a bunny from a Michael Jackson videoclip I watched too often during childhood.

I just didn't get what are the blobs in bottom part, the round things, is it part of his flying-V guitar?

Yup, I didn't have any picture of the guitar so I improvised some pattern on it.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH why do you make everything so perfect. I feel like my drawings are shit now. This is great. The rough edges, the way you balance thick and thin contours, the minimalistic colors, the overall style and depth (perspective) of the piece. Even the little aim at the tip of his nose/blowgun. So much creativity. Grrnnn!! ... That's without any doubt the best fanart of Joan Loumin so far.

How do you color? it looks like pen, but I'm not sure.

That last one is really impressive... The way you give volume to the coat, the hat... The way they are textured... very impressive !

Thank you very much SG!
But there are many mistakes in this drawing, but I'm glad you didn't see them.
I used "promarkers" to color it. These are very nice markers, yet a bit expensive.

Joan Loumin is the name of the character? Is it said in LBA2?
And the aim on the blowgun is indeed a good idea, but it was already there in LBA 2 during the Emperor's assault in the mosquibee island.

Yes! His name is not mentioned in the actual game, and is only written in the official LBA 2 website. You didn't know? I thought you named the file Jean Mouchin on purpose, to make some joke reference!

Oh, and for those who might ask, this character is a reference to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Moulin.

Wow, the last is seriously cool. Like, probably the best I've seen from you so far. I realy enjoyed the style of it and all the details you gave to the image. Have you already worked with drawing, or is it only a hobby?

You actually made a parody of Jean Moulin based on that character, without even knowing that he really was a parody of Jean Moulin? That's like... extraordinary

Anyway, best drawing so far... I like how everything looks so "3d". Keep em comin!

Thanks to all for the comments! I am also gald that the great MBN digital artist Jasiek liked the drawings.
I didn't know that Fred's team already used this mosquibee as a reference to Jean Moulin. But it seemed logical for me to do so, due to the hat, the red scarf and the dissident caracter of this mosquibee.
Marcos-> I made some studies in comics in Belgium, but I am far from being professional.

Here comes the next pic.
It was harder to ink than I expected.

I like this one less than the others. He looks like Mickey or something. Great technique still, but not as awesome as the others. I hope this negative comment won't stop you from doing more of these. I can't highlight how much I enjoy watching these!

Lupin-> DOn't worry, I can't highlight how much honesty in the comments is important to me. But that doesn't mean I'll quit trying to draw this way though
Because one interesting in this exercise is that I can try any style for each drawing.

Archas-> Je ne dessine pas comme un Dieu, je m'inspire beaucoup de maîtres du dessin. Mais merci quand-même.
In English: "I don't draw like a god, I inspire myself a lot by many drawing masters. THanks though.

Hmmm. I liked a lot the style - the heavy shadows and clear areas, very beautiful. But I guess the subject of the drawing didn't interest me as much.

Sorry for being late.
Here is the next drawing. I thought the previous drawing with the flower would be more appreciated, but it's hard to figure what's in everybody's mind
