Question LBA/Relentless 1994 Floppy version acts strange...

Actually, I don't have it. My friend has, and I also tested it (he lent it to me). But it has a problem... the slide shows don't show. The file FLA_PCX.HQR is there (I can't mix it up with the 1995 version, since that one has FLA_GIF.HQR). LBADeCOMP opens it, it extracts the items correctly (also my WinHQR program does the same), but in the game, they're distorted. Why? And, it's not because of my graphics card, since the 1995 version works OK. Please, help!!!!

It's not a graphics card problem. The 1995 version works OK, and it uses the same graphics card drivers.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh... I found the problem... the executable file is corrupted. Does anybody have one. For the 1994 floppy version, I mean.

if you have 1995 aswell, surely you can just use the 1995 one altogether?

No, because one uses GIF and the other one PCX.

Actually, I know, how you should check, if you have the file. By file size.
Thus: 1994 CD version: 258xxx bytes,
1994 floppy version: 254xxx bytes (other sizes are also quite possible),
1995 floppy version: 273xxx bytes,
1995 CD version (maybe illegal): 277xxx bytes,
and 2001 LBAWin: 258xxx bytes (a bit smaller than 1994 CD version).

I hope this will be useful to you, guys.
