You won't get a new pic till monday, because all the files are in school. I'll add a few more details (mainly the door) to it, before bringing the scene into 3DS Max. I'll then texture it, and add the ropes. (TS4, though good, isn't really suitable to try my rope techque out)

hey there is an error there : the high side is not the back of the boat, it's the front : look at the pictures, we see the boat from the back in this video, and this back is where there is a little slaate.
The front is high, transparent and sharper... on your pic the boat seems to be the inverse of the game's one.

The proportions where based on game shots (no perspextive), the shape from cutscene shots.
I see the cover thing needs to be moved down a bit, but I'm not to sure of the rest.

Yeah there's a big lip that runs across the back of the boat and its missing in the model, you need to remove the posts along the back for it.
I think the reason it looks too high is cause in that render the boat is not sunk deep enough into the water, push it down some more and it'll look ok.

(Although I doubt the front would be straight up flat. I'm sure it should have a pointed prow like other boats.)
