For anybody that has it.. where are all the editing mesh smooth, and other tools.. i cvant find anything.. it seems empty.. yes i got the full version..

What i can say after testing a tutorial is its a hell lot more flexible than 3ds when it comes to animating and it has tools which keeps you away from making errors in 3ds

Also i think 3ds is better for moddeling.. i still need time to explore

Wasn't I supposed to send it to you? Anyway good to see you got it anyway, yeah I heard Maya's really flexible, plus it's designed for making games so you'd expect it to be. You can find some good tutorials at 3d Cafe, 3D links, 3D luvr and a few others

Maya...the perfect (dark) interface
Try holding space and using the mouse, or something (sorry, been too years since I used it)

I quite agree, I had the opertunity of using Maya a few years back, but I prefered 3DS Max.
Simerlar thing with PSP/Photoshop, I always go for the less popular (but in my few suppiour) brand
