Thanks for the transcript!
I already had the feeling that Fred likes AR more than VR because he worked on some electronic toy guns with game elements.
And I think that if a good LBA 2 port comes out, LBA 3 will come eventually.

Does anyone know anything more about the book? Will it eventually come out in English? Or do I have to learn French?

Steam says it is an enhanced version... Seems like a port of the tablet version, but I haven't bought it yet...

No keyboard controls as of release, only mouse and gamepad - where the gamepad is kind of shoddy. There's also been some kind of experimentation going on with changing some graphical assets. To be honest it looks really cheap, both the menu and the icons.

This wasn't the LBA I was asking for, I know that at least. Hopefully they'll listen to the amount of negative feedback on some of these things and release a patch soon. At least keyboard controls need to be in there. Either that or they should just bundle the original in there together with the "enhanced edition".

The strange thing is why the community inst involved to give this feedback before releasing such product. We're here for that and I sure we all will give value input about it.

Yay! Steam!

At least LBA2 is good old LBA2 right? Weird LBA1 doesn't seem to work with a keyboard, it was the only way to play back then.

Just bought the bundle now and had a chance to play a little bit

It comes with the LBA1 and LBA2 original DotEmu versions on DosBox plus the Enhanced version which is the mobile version.

LBA1 Enhanced is strange, it's a mix of feelings. I can see a lot of nice features there, but at the same time a lot of issues and not well tested.

The menus are completely different then the original. It goes into the same kind design as the mobile version. It has too many sparkling images for my taste, we know why but well, seems too much.
The menu + XBox Controler doesn't work that well. For those used to play with Consoles, you will see how difficult it is to browse the menus. Not sure with Steam Controller it will be better tho.

A lot of screen issues. I'm running at Full HD. It doesn't detect the screen size by default. It does start the game in fullscreen with the wrong resolution, making the fullscreen to be partially displayed. Had to switch to window mode and choose HdReady.

Zoom option was added with the wrong buttons, instead of the shoulder pressure triggers, its only the shoulders triggers. Instead of a fluid zoom in/out animation, you see zoom steps.
No zoom pan, no button to trigger that.
No Twinsen recenter, it does automatically.
Zoom scenes, doesn't seem to work like the mobile version, but maybe I'm missing an option to set.

Twinset get stuck running without being possible to do anything in the controller, while the screen has been re-centered. Only when a cut-scene ended (when we give the drink to the grobo in the Tavern) it unlocked the controller.

The left stick is not as sensitive as it should, making Twinsen jump from side to side. Its hard to aim the magicball.

Normal and Sportif behaviors are in the same X button, slowing down the game pace.

You can still run and through the magicball without using the new mobile aiming features which is great.

No Holomap pan!!!

Should LBA 3 get made I think it should have visuals resembling this game: Yooka Laylee. It's cartoony, fun and I feel it gives a good representation of the atmosphere of Twinsen.

I think with Yooka Laylee coming out, it's somewhat of a resurgence of the adventure game genre. There's no better time to release LBA 3 imo
