Make LBA2 run smoother

Hi guys,

In fact I have 2 questions.

Finally I managed to run LBA2 on my laptop with Windows 7 - 64 bit.
The gameplay is very smooth, but....
When a video starts to play the CD-ROM makes this awfull loud noise and spinning and spinning, sometimes this lasts for 1 minute and then the movie finally start.
Sometimes it takes 5 minutes, and when it takes this long te game finally crashes and closes immediatly.
I was wondering if there is any LBA2 no-cd crack?
If yes, is this compatible with 64 bit?
If no, I'll copy the contents of my original LBA2 disc on another disc and see if that works out.

http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games...enture_2.shtml - (last link, or second-to-last)
  • Install the game - Full Installation.
  • Copy the following directories from the CD to the game directory:
    • MUSIC (~10 MB)
    • VIDEO (~230 MB)
  • Replace the original TWINSEN.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
  • Play the Game!
if yours is called LBA2.EXE you can just rename it, also bear in mind you'll have to reapply the gfx patch if you're using it.
