They're probably from Earth. (a distant garbage planet)

They are from some distant garbage planet, I recall.
They're just making a reference that earth is inhabitated by litter-bugs, methinks.

EDIT: Ido beat me to it.

I don't think it is, but I'm not the one who've played the game the most.

There was some debate that it was given to show the perspective of the LBA characters to "real-life" object, if I recall. Which would make Twinsen fucking tiny.

Interesting theory Saria, however as a scientist I must point out that after some light-years of research I've noticed the 'little BIG adventure' counter-argument.

The adventure is a big adventure, whilst still being little. For example, if an ant went on a bi adventure, it would be little to us. I think..

Nah, it's just that too many people say "light-year" like it's some sort of a really long year.

btw, what's up with what Twinsen says when looking at those things?
"Those paintings are bogus" - I mean, these aren't paintings, and they aren't bogus...

Probably some translation mistake or something. And in the Hebrew version he says something completely different (something like "what are those horrible things?").

Coz apparently the only language that comes close to as retarded (as in difficult) is Latin. Although if given a choice between learning Latin or Hebrew, I'd def go Latin, it just sounds so... fluent.

Latin is far more useful than Hebrew, unless you want to study theology.

He should say "what are those horrible things?" when approaching the Q-Tips, and say "those paintings are bogus" to the paintings on the walls of Rick's café. That's what he does in my version of the game.

I was joking It was morshem and I who translated the LBA games to Hebrew.

But you're right actually, Hebrew is a retarded language, on all aspects (not just because it's difficult). It's fucking near impossible to express "complicated" thoughts in Hebrew because Hebrew simply isn't built to express them. I despise the man (Eliezer Ben-Yehuda) who is responsible for bringing that language back from the dead. That's why I think, dream and write in English.
