Is there a way to convert an LBA 2 SMK cutscene file to a Wav or Mp3 file? Is there a way to take specific sound effects from the cutscenes in LBA 2? I am certain that the sounds that we hear in the game itself are different from the actual cutscenes themselves.
If neither of these are possible, it might be better to just record the sounds manually through Audacity or other sound recording programs. I was just curious because I would like to be able to do things with these sound files. ![]()

Come to think of it, the sound files might be encoded in the SMK, so using a hex - editor might allow one to extract those files from it?

This is Battler specialty, let's see if I can help.
As far as I remember the SMK movies have 2 sound tracks. One with the speech, the other SFX. You can use the tools provided http://www.radgametools.com/smkdown.htm to extract the SMK content.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the all speech tracks together. Thanks for the correction.
