FunFrock's picture in the book in LBA2's intro

Anyone have an idea on what the hell he is? :P He has ears like a Rabbibunny and a mustache. Did someone doodle on his picture to poke fun at him? Or does he actually look like that? Don't remember any of those details in the game. He's also as big as a Grobo, too. Perhaps he genespliced himself to contain all the strongest qualities of each race? XD

the other drawings you see in that movie are concept art, so I think the funfrock image is also concept art.

I think that the ears and moustache are graffiti on an image of Funfrock, to emphasise that he's not a popular fellow.

Theese are mountains behind him, he's got normal ears right were they should be, and the moustache looks way not too sketchy, I think he was intended like that. The model of Frunfrock in LBA1 had a monocle on his face, I think the idea was to make him like a sort of a XIX centrury scientist or something.

When Funfrock says "fool of a Quetch" he just means Twinsen is a fool, rather than that Quetches are foolish (otherwise he'd leave out the "fool" bit). It's like saying "foolish boy" or something.

a species is a set of creatures that can mate with each other...i think. it's a pretty crappy definition, but i think i remember hearing it's the only one biologists can all agree on. because when you think about it, it's fairly tough to answer. what is it that makes us different from monkeys, and makes monkeys different from cats, and cats different from quetches, and quetches etc.?


i always assumed funfrock was a quetch. where else could he have come from? and if it was somewhere weird and unique, how come that fact was never mentioned?

There's also the quetch who lusts after a rabibunny, and the rabibunny who distracts a grobo clone, and I think that the Weather Wizard's little 'project' was an image of a quetch. So it's possible for there to be inter-species relationships. I think Chaosfish has a point about the adopted possibility, though.

There's also the fact that the official website said that sphero reproduction is a lost secret. So how did the young sphero in Bu get there in the first place?
