Personality Type
Take this personality type test:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp Make note of the 4 pink letters, and look up your type here: http://typelogic.com/ It really is quite amazing how accurate the description is. NOTE: The poll is missing the ISFP personality type. This is because there are 16 personality types while the poll only supports up to 15 options. A review for a book on amazon which is written perfectly on what one should account for when dealing with personality types: Based on the Carl Jung's psychological types, the authors pervert Jung's theories in one fundamental respect. When Jung talked about the goal of achieving selfhood, he was advancing the idea that opposites ought to be transcended. In other words, an extreme INFJ was not yet a full self; the opposing ESTP functions must be more fully developed in order for that person to be whole -- that is, to be a whole self. The gullible reader of this book could easily come away with the impression that their personality type defines who they are and what they have the capacity to be. Believing that could make it all the more difficult for them to construct a larger identity. That is a real danger. It is awfully ironic that Jung's system, a system that was designed to help people create larger selves and be larger people, is being perverted so crassly by the authors in such a way as to diminish people, to make them smaller, by reducing them to fractions of the human beings they have the potential to be and should be. Believing this stuff could ruin your life. You are not your psychology. Jung never meant for you to be your psychology. He meant for you to transcend it. Opposites create energy and energy is life. Types don't live fully. Last edited by Mannesh; 2007-06-09 at 03:23. |

Neat test you've got there.
I resulted in the being type INTJ Quite astonishing, really. There are so many things that are consistent and true to who I am. My jaw started dropping at even the second sentence or such, and may I quote Quote:
I do not trust this simple test completely, but so far I don't have much to contest against my result. I've not heard much of this test nor these specifications before, I must look this up more closely.

It doesen't really work for me, the questions are too specific, I can imagine for most of them a situation in wich I would go yes, and no - depending on the specifics. Anwyay, my charachter had such a great shift in the past few years, theese tests make me confused... couse in many cases I wan't to select both possibilities, and then I catch myself thinking "wait, I should pick the other one, I'm not like that anymore"...
Ended up with ENFJ with this test.

I'd have to agree with Jasiek, a couple of questions are almost impossible to definetly decide upon.
I might have a touch of INTP as well, but I'm definetly some sort of INTx. I'm not quite certain which one might be most accurate. I'd surely like to find some way to test myself with greater certainty. Not that anything is for certain. Edit: On a side note - Ha, I'm a mastermind!

Although, there are probably a few "duplicates" of each question in various forms (so you might not even notice) and it just chooses what you voted for most of the questions asking the same thing. That's how it works with psychological tests I think.

The personality type you have is not set in stone, it can change; the creator of the personality types, Carl Jung, said people should never focus on their type as to say this is me, but instead develop and improve there weaknesses for that type. Alot of the questions a few years back I would have answered differently. Another thing to note is that they give a specific general description of that type, trying to describe the attributes of that type best they can; really no personality type can be fully accurate if they don't generate their own report, because it has to fit it within one of the 16 different types of personalities best it can. Its like the 12 zodiac signs, if two of us are scorpios, doesn't mean we are the same, but all different, though the scorpio description may be generally right at the way we percieve things or how we act. There are a lot of duplicate questions...
I'm an ENTJ; * slightly expressed extravert * slightly expressed intuitive personality * slightly expressed thinking personality * moderately expressed judging personality |

The following was something I could relate to, which got it from here: Humour is another aspect which marks out the INTP. He can readily dream up jokes about almost any situation. Taking things out of context is the chief source of humour and many an INTP is a Monty Pythonite. The Ne is the engine and source of this joke-generator. Needless to say, the humour of an INTP can be pretty zany and warped and may not be understood easily by others. The problem is that the Ne concepts for jokes are put into a structure only by the Ti. Hence, the humour can become black and tactless, having felt little Feeling input. Funnily enough, INTPs are dreadful tellers of jokes (which seems to be more the domain of those with Se), perhaps because they pay too little attention to detail when speaking spontaneously. If you see someone smirking and laughing at some private thought, without any obvious reason, he's probably an INTP. INTPs may however make good comedy writers, with the humour of Woody Allen being particularly liked. |

I just did a similar test on whatever. Try it out.
Surprisingly enough, and to my satisfication, I was still an INTJ. This might prove to myself that it might be even more accurate than I first thought. Then again, I'll have to see after doing the tests again, in... say, two weeks or so from now.

Lol, did the second one, ended up with this:
INFP - Writers, artists, counselers, social workers, English teachers, fine arts teachers, child care workers, clergy, missionaries, psychologists, psychiatrists, scientists, political activists, editors, education consultants, journalists, religious educators, social scientists.. Driven by a strong sense of personal values, they are also highly creative and can offer support from behind the scenes. Really, theese questions are too strict!

INTJ. Didn't like the way the questions were done, though, and the text was tl;dr. Too long; didn't care also.

I think the human personality is too complex to be defined by four factors.
There are so many personality tests out there...and this one really simplifies things. I don't expect to experience a great enlightenment from this test. If anybody here does, let me know. |

I think the system is very accurate but the tests may vary. All in all i still say its great, mostly because my results fit me. I did this a while back, when i started looking up som PUA stuff, to see which sides are my strenghts, and i got the same result: ENTP.

INTP
The link is for the second description because I didn't relate to or understand the first one... I feel like the quiz should have had a "maybe" option, and maybe even a "Don't Know" because somethings I couldn't relate to at all. I was also a little concerned when I seemed to be pressing yes a lot. I could relate to some of it, but not all of it. I think with these quizes they'll occassionally get it spot on, but only out of luck. Like with Horoscopes, there's no way everyone will be the same, depending on when they were born. Maybe they base the horoscopes on what they think the type of people are that will actually read horoscopes... I know it's meant to come from the stars, but they all seem very vague and general to me, something like: You might find love this week. You are working towards a goal. You are possibly planning a meal soon. As well as this quiz, I noticed a lot of questions which were very similar to ones that had come before. I don't know what I'm talking about though. ![]() |

Your Type is ISFP IntrovertedSensingFeelingPerceiving Strength of the preferences % 22253811 You are:
I think I failed mostly with the socialising. I want to socialise, but not many other people do.. so I don't talk to many people.. so I had to tick no to quite a few.
