It is just a cool joke made by the game's creators, beat a kid up, get beaten up by his/her brother.
What should they have done? First threaten Twinsen that they will come after him, and after a time show up, retell everything and then beat him up? too unwieldy.

It's a good joke, but no reason to suggest you have found new insights in Twinsunian biology.
