LBA2 on Xp: nothing is working!
hi guys.
the funnyfrog patch does not work for me because i have an ati radeon 9800, i downloaded a display support driver and that didnt work, so i downloaded a new graphics driver called the all in wonder and that didnt work neither! someone told me that i'll need a support patch for the game itself or get a new copy, where can i get something like that? and will a new copy of the game work on Xp? i am seriously stumped, help!

If funnyfrog patch doesn't work you will not have any chance to play the game. Btw, did you get some errors during the patch apply?

If the game doesn't ever start, try to opening the adeline.log file (in your LBA 2 directory, can be opened with notepad). At the end of this file you should find whats wrong.

the game plays well, and there's nothing up with the sound, its just the display that's the problem, but i'll have a look anyway.
i had no problems with the funnyfrog patch being downloaded, which is why im wondering why there's no change.

one other thing..
do you reckon a new copy of the game will run ok? im wondering if the reason why is because my copy is quite old, so im kinda hoping that if i buy a new copy of the game it will work better on my PC.

Nope, isn't because your old version, and buy a new one will not resolve nothing. Sorry to say that.
What you could do is tryin' to play the game under DOSBox and probably this will be resolved. Check this thread for more informations.
