Right, i finally met Necd on MSN, so we managed to take a decision.

Our team is now reinforced by 2 new members ^^

Polaris : i really love your map, especially the house with the stairs, you playde with the height and it's cool ^^

The other new member is my brother (Anthony), who appears in the credits, because he learned me how to code ^^ that demo gave him the wish to try by himself, so we include him, please welcome TonyPro ^^

Thanks to everybody, you can still report bugs on the mantis, given by Alexfont, and i think we'll use it too to plan our new progresses.

Just played great work

Random comments;

*) Any way of getting rid of the annoying pause's with the text? Probably not, as I think thats part of the LBA 1 engine (its waiting for the sound to finnish).

*) Perhaps add a few descriptions if possible? (ie, when your at home at the start would it be possible for Twinsen to do an action by the tv and trigger a description of whats on?). You could use ideas like this to help give backstorys/more detail to the world too.

*) Love Twinsens new fashion sense :P

*) The arch/bridge in the starting area seems a little pointless. To make a consistent/realistic game world, its nice if everything has realistic architecture.
Alternatively, you can just lampshade it by having someone say "I have no idea why they built this arch!" ;P

*) The starting puzzle with buying the hammer etc is a good simple start to the game.

*) love some of the humor! (weird guy)

*) Love the credits Rock On indeed!

About the weird sounds, like guys having a party lol.. if its happening in another scene.. i think you should lower the volume a bit.. dunno just a thught...

this is great guys finally an lba game

something else....

- when you try to buy the hammer but dont have any money..
the salesman wont say some like "you don't have enough kashes" dunno if thats a bug :P

- i was playing the spanish version.. and when you purchase the hammer.. in the inventory says "MAGIC FLUTE" and the whole description of the magic flute from relentless..

and here's one idea that came from my head

can you make like a clone thats not a clone.. like a clon with a heart sort of speak... kinda crazy...
and this clone may talk about zeelech .. like he knows what's going to happen cuz funfrock told him his plans
i think i went too far on that part.. but it would be cool ah?

What can be better than being at a high bridge looking at the wind pass by the trees and watching the flowers grow? You'll think of that bridge differently later...

Ermm... we haven't released a spanish version... yet. You have to play it in english .

Well if you want ideas so here is some: It would be cool, if there was in the game something similar pruduct to ours world (for example Coca-Cola is Nuka-Cola in Fallout3 and there was this Nicks Cafe in the Lba 2).
And it would be fun if there were items that you cannot do enything with, it give some difficulty to the game. Its very intresing to be somewhere that you have never been, so think how fun it would be to have totally diffrent trees and fences and all kind of stuf that just look diffrent! I am very happy that some people are making this mod. Keep it up folks! I thank you for doing this!

i agree that its a nice start for the game( it the start dont is it?)
but some sugestions:
1) if possible remove the damage taken when you "touch" a wall
2) the options have some delay ( when you buy the hammer is takes some time to the options appear and the same after you buy)
3) i also liked the clone talking abou the funfrock plans on zeelich

Great!

Just played the demo, it's real great it's some kind of weird to have the feeling of playing a game you know by heart, but still it's new, I like it.

However, I'd like to help with a german version of the game, don't know if you can need this or if someone else is doing it already, but I can translate the text files and maybe record spoken german language, but I don't want to promise too much.
So tell me if I can help.

that is when you run against it, you can disable it with lbawin. I was thinking of that too for the game...

I've just played it and I find it NICE I want to see the next step

But I've met a little glitch : when I bought the hammer, the seller still propose me to sell the item.. even there is nothing on the table ^^ (sorry if the problem is already known)

Yet to play it (currently on my Linux rig) but when I get a chance I'll fire it up.

I just posted on the end of Jasiek's thread RE: Lba1 Remake, but I'll repeat here...

I've been out of the LBA loop for years, then all of a sudden - BAM, things are looking good on the fan-project front. In fact, they're looking great.

Anyway - I'm an Audio man (pardon the reference to There Will Be Blood). I work with sound and music and all sorts really. I've also built up a lovely project studio over the years, and after the first week of May (deadlines for various portfolios and dissertations and exams etc) I will have a lot more time on my hands.
I'd love to contribute, IF there's room for me and IF there's use for my skills/gear.
