Do you wear glasses?

Glad to hear you're better .
About the glasses, yes but only when I have to see somewhere far - thats my doctors orders. She sais that my eyes are young, and if they'll stop working my acommodation will deteriorate or something like this. So I wear them only when I need them.
And I'm currently whining about a drivers licence - I'll try to do the courses and exams when it gets warmer, but I'll have to wear the glasses then (darn). I hope my sight won't ruin it, cause (as you can see in the high tech thread) I'm also whining after a car .

Oh, and I'm sick ! :/ Again! :/ I hate this winter! Why doesen't it go away... :/

You want a retro car?
Aren't they like slow or unsafe or something?

Anyway I'm now beginning to recover from my hangover from yesterday evening
It was so surreal, Fred was nothing like I imagined, such a non-snobbish and cool person. I mean, I don't think it was only public relations... I think he really is cool.

Sorry if I were too crazy yesterday anyhow.
No actually I'm not sorry

I was wondering about eye surgery: just like "regular" eyes can go bad with time, can you lasered eyes go bad and you'll need another surgery / glasses?

Neko if you're using photoshop 7.0 than there is an error in it regarding transparency in TGA files - there's a patch on the adobe website.

CF, some of the 1930 cars can go up to 240 km/h. The combustion engine hasn't changed much when it comes to mechanics. And regarding safety, well, during the accidents the stearing wheel column punctures your chest and can even reach the spine... But I would use a modern stearing wheel, engine, modern brakes, and basically some other things. It can all be remade to match modern safety norms.

Well thanks for trying to help. I think sometimes tutorials just don't cover some problems people might run into. It was a problem that I had the bitrate wrong, it was supposed to be 24 bits. And in the program I use it for, it doesn't show the colors you drawn in the editor (but it does when you compile, then it works).

The doctor dude said they have a system for stopping the eyes from going bad again after the surgery, but it only works on 93% of the times or something... So it's recommended to do the surgery only after there wasn't a worsening in your sight for at least an year.

Today I got my very first speeding ticket! It was really exciting. I didn't even know I was speeding. Usually I drive like an old lady.

Unhappy My new dog

Dug up and old camera lately (need to buy a new one, someday).
Here's my new dog, my mum wanted a new one badly.
It's a cute little beast an all, but I'm a bit frustrated, cause I can't stop missing my first dog ("Frytka" Pl, "Chip" or "Fry" Eng), and I keep messing up the names(their so alike).
And every time someone else messes the name it's like a punch in the face.

First of all, today (15/3) will be the last day I'm known as a "new driver" (it's written in your license for the first 2 years).

Second, I sure earned a mileage today.
I went to my base (1.5h, one bus), was there till 13:15, got home (this time 3 buses, 2h), was at home till 17:35, went to another base (45min with speeding), took a bus from there to a purim party (1h), party party party, bus back to base (1h), and car home (45min).

Funny you should say that, because he did ask if I had any problems seeing over the wheel. I don't really think he was trying to be insulting, but he didn't seem to think twice about writing me that ticket. And he also kept looking around my car like he was expecting to find a keg of beer or something. It was weird. Apparently I was driving 15 over the limit.

Aww, I also miss my dog since she was executed due to her liver disease.

Sweet dog you got, anyway! It makes me want to buy a new pet.

My dog got destroyed by my council last week, He got out Wednesday night, we reported him missing straight away to the council. We rang again on the weekend, and the council pound told us they had him but had been put down Thursday??

He was registered and everything, work that out?

Were looking at sueing the council because they didn't contact us to tell us they found him or keep him for at least 5 days as they are required to before executing a lost dog.

I lost my best friend

That's one of the most horrible things I ever read about at this forum. That is FUCKING bizarre and sick. I hope that you take action and crush the bastards.

Gustav> Agreed. A normal friendship is nothing compared to a dog's friendship. We have to change things constructively so there'll be less dog execution incidents.

Eh? Here in Israel you need to be at least 20km/h over the limit for the cops to bother going after you.

They did what ??!!
What a bastardous system is that ??!!
Here when the dog is taken to a pound it is kept there unless he is dying or of old age anyway. And almost always it is taken care of and someone evetually comes and takes it home. What a country is that when they'll kill a dog after five days??!!

Sorry, I'm having trouble believing that a civilized country would comit a constitional murder on a creature that has to be taken care of.
Why all those dumbheads go and protest on genetically modified non-harmfoul food, when they should be protesting against bastadrs who put down animals for no reason!?

schitzn - That is terrible, simply awful as awful can get
Long time ago my uncle's family lost their dog and the council did exactly the same thing as they did to your dog.

Behaviour like this really makes me sick.

Today, I crafted, or 'finetuned' my first model. It's a sword. It is very simple.

Now to figure out why my own created polygon don't have a bottom but it does have a top.

You need to create polygons clockwise, if you'll do it counterclockwised they will end up reversed. If myguess about your problem is correct try adn find an option "flip normals" or something like that. If it that's not the problem, a little tip, polygons from my expierence with programs are always one sided.
