LBA Speedracing [December 2008 / January 2009]

Merry christmas everyone!
As Dino-Fly said in the previous thread, it's about time we arranged some more races.
The poll is made up of two sections, and it might as well be public so it is.
The first section (in red) is which LBA (1 or 2) you would rather race with.
Hopefully we can do both over the holiday so this is just which will be first.
The second section (in blue) is which dates you can make to race on.
If you're not really sure but would like to race then just post that in this thread.
You can vote on as many dates as you like but please only vote for one game!

Note: I have started the dates at the end of next week since it will take us a few days to organise anything and this gives people a few days to see the thread and free up a day. Also I've left out Christmas Day and also New Years Eve and New Years Day since I expect a lot of people will have better things to do on these days...

No we just trust each other. I guess it's not really the most secure method but to cheat at this is kind of pointless, just like the race itself. We once discussed a program that would record when you started and finished the game, but no one wanted to write it!

I'm not entirely sure when I can play considering there's a lot of work to do in the holidays. I guess December 30 and/or January 2 won't work for me.

I want to play LBA2. I'm better on that one.

I guess any day is Ok for me, but week days would be better.

PM me or send me msn messages some time before the speedrun*, I have to search for the LBA CD that's somewhere between a pile of CDs.

* Also, my internet is being shit these days, so I can't open MBN sometimes.

The days I probably can be available are 26,28,29 and 30th December.

Yes we have done a LBA1 speedrun, but it was obvious that morshem pawned assasin who pawned me who pawned leoboe, so we could need a stronger players

I'll play through LBA1 over the next few days and see if there needs to be any specific rules, and also consider the LBAWin setup.
Personally I'd rather race LBA2, I think that one is a little easier to speedrun, but hopefully we can do both games in the next few weeks.

Yeah we all need to play the same version, I guess LBAwin will be the most popular setup.

Well, in LBAWin you also can disable Wall damage, we could all do that if you want to play the PS1 version. That is unless it plays faster. What Hz mode is it in?
