Harbor of Otringal:

[fan]
The Harbor is the westernmost area of the Island of Otringal. And not only that, it is also the most lawless region of the island with the Rick’s Bar as the center of the widespred Otringal underworld.

The Harbor is one of the two official places from where it is possible to leave Otringal (the Astroport is the other) and the official way to do it is by taking the Francosteered taxi for 5 Zlitos. There are also more unreliable and more adventureous ways to leave the island from the harbor, but they are mostly more expensive and also less comfortable.

[theory]
Why is the region so lawless then? For scums coming by the gas from other islands the Rick’s Bar is the natural firstchoice to enter (due to its location), and perhaps that is why the place seems so lawless. It can also be that the soldiers patrolling the area are lowgrade Policemen, and compared to the Middle-City lasergun armed ones they are pretty weak. A third option is that the only way to enter the region (apart from the gas way) is a long, high and thin stair. Perhaps there is a huge risk travelling that stair (if you are a soldier)

There is not really much of great visual experiences to get from the Harbor. To mention is: 2 piers (One of them seems to be an official one, with a white concrete floor and 9 safety fences. The other is more bohemic, and seems to be privately owned, since it is made of wood. This wood is by the way the only wood to find in the environment of the harbor area), 1 building (Rick’s Bar), 1 dock, 1 garbage can (Just outside the bar entrance), 6 jars (Three on each side of the piers), 2 plants (on each side of the Bar), three lightposts (one at the end of the ‘official’ pier, and one on each side of the Bar) lots of concrete and last but not least a nice bench to relax on (with a safety bench in front of it).

[trivia]Other things to notify is that the Harbor is the lowest (compared to gas level) located area of Otringal. It is also the only area of the city where gas monsters actually are on the warfare, and finally the only area which main entrance is not an indoor one.

[role]

It was from this area that Twinsen made his first interisland trip on Zeelich, the one that lead him to Celebration Island, onboard the boat called Leontine. It was also the gateway for Twinsen in many travels across the gascovered planet. The Harbor area is also the place where Twinsen met Rick, the mafia boss and got the advice to find Johnny Rocket, the dissident boss. Finally this was the area where Twinsen first came after the crashlanding on the rocks west of the Island of Otringal.

Gustav, good job, but try to do it in the format that Twinsal does it. Makes it easier to transcribe onto the site.

Doesn't matter. My first articles weren't very great, following the rules, too.

That's funny, because I've wrote only LBA 2-only articles (that's because I've never finished LBA 1).

Green Corulla Street

[official]

Sign in the Sewers:
Quote:
"Green Corulla Street"
[fan]

Green Corulla Street is one of the streets in the Sewers of Citadel Island. It has got two entrances: either from the Weather Wizard’s Tent, or from the grate near the telescope.

[theories]

There’s a door in Green Corulla Street, but the door is locked, and I was never able to find the key.

[role]

It is in Green Corulla Street that the Weather Wizard has hidden Sendell’s Ball, and even though the access to the ball is not through the street itself (but through Chez Luc), this is the main part of this street (and of the whole sewers). There are also two mushrooms in the street, giving 5 kashes and a clover.

Secret Mosquibee Hideout

[official]

Old Mosquibee near the fragment:
Quote:
The Queen has been captured, but some of our people managed to escape. They took shelter in the cave of the volcano.
Mosquibees in the hideout:
Quote:
As for us, we stay here until things cool down.
Quote:
Twinsen, you managed to escape?
Quote:
Lucky we knew where this hideout was. Without it, we would have been jailed, like the others.
[fan]

The Mosquibee hideout is a secret cave in Volcano Island. The Mosquibees use it to hide when they need to.

[role]

After Twinsen completes the Mosquibee Challenge, the emperor’s soldiers attack the island and capture the queen and most of the Mosquibees. A few Mosquibees manage to escape and flee to the secret hideout. They tell Twinsen that the queen has been captured.
There’s also a clover box in the hideout.

What's going on? How did we let the project die again? Please try to revive it.

Lighthouse

[official]

Twinsen:
Quote:
Let's go to the lighthouse!
Sign near the Lighthouse:
Quote:
"Lighthouse at the end of the island."
Bersimon:
Quote:
This storm...I wanted to get rid of it but the lighthouse was closed and I can't find the keeper anywhere. Only he could help me reach the top of the building where I have the view I need to utter a conjuration. It's the only way to stop this storm that neutralizes the island. But I need the lighthouse keeper.
Quote:
I just bumped into the keeper who was going back to the lighthouse. He told me that a true hero had just saved him from a voracious monster.
Quote:
Bravo! And now, if you appreciate Great Art, let's meet at the lighthouse. You'll see what you'll see!
Zoé:
Quote:
No, not through there. First Let's go over to the lighthouse and visit the Weather Wizard.
[fan]

The lighthouse is Citadel Island’s highest point. The lighthouse is kept by a rabbibunny named Raph. It is used to light up the way to arriving ships and ferries.

[theories]

It is still unknown whether Twinsen is able to go into the lighthouse, although he probably can’t.

[role]

In order to go to Desert Island and find a cure for Dino-Fly, Twinsen must first stop the storm. Bersimon tells him that he needs to go to the top of the lighthouse in order to utter a conjuration. After finding and freeing the lighthouse keeper, Twinsen can go into the lighthouse and watch Bersimon stopping the storm.

Cliffs of the Woodbridge

[official]
Sign near the cliffs:
Quote:
"Cliffs of the Woodbridge."
Felix:
Quote:
I heard he likes to "seek inspiration" by "The Cliffs of the Woodbridge". That place is dangerous, if half of what I've heard about the Tralu's for real. Don't go if you are unarmed.
[fan]
The Cliffs of the Woodbridge is the name given to a small cliff isolated from Citadel Island’s mainland. People can access the place using a small moving bridge, activated by turning a wheel next to the bridge. The cliff contains three trees, and is usually vacant. Raph, the lighthouse keeper, likes to go there from time to time to practice new tunes on his guitar.

[role]
The Cliffs of the Woodbridge have no specific role in Twinsen’s adventure. However, many hearts, magic points and kashes can be found there.

Ridge of the Flowers Circle

[official]
Sign near the ridge:
Quote:
"Ridge of the Flowers Circle."
Teacher:
Quote:
I'd like to take the kids to the "Flowers Circle", but the weather's just too bad.
Quote:
[Sniff]...the children...we were at the "Flowers Circle" [sniff]...suddenly one of those alien ships showed up right overhead. There was this big white flash, and then...nothing. Next thing I remember, I found myself alone, the children nowhere in sight, and the ship was taking off. It's horrible, Mr. Twinsen! You have to find them! You have to!
[fan]
The Ridge of the Flowers Circle is a pretty big flowery circle by the cliffs of Citadel Island. The island’s children like to go there for field trips.

[role]
Although not having a specific role, it is at the Flowers Circle where the children of Twinsun were kidnapped by the Esmers. Also, this is where Twinsen finds Joe after the Esmers take over the planet.
