Yeah, that resizeing thing is really cool.
When that hits the photoapps it might actualy make me upgrade from PSP9.
(10 and 11 didnt have anything I found worth it)

Also though, there will need to be a new file format for web use that stores protection data.

Sadly, not.
Its not even 3D
Dissapointing, but you can tell if you look. (all the objects are always rotateing...if they stoped it would be obviously its just being projected onto a angled material inside).

The clever part, however, is whatever material they are using is almost completely transparent except for where the light hits it. (which is very hard to do).

Allthough I dont like the idea of it superheating air rapidly many times a second into lots of little plasma balls.

I didn't watch it all (45 minutes!), but IF that's true and there were life on Mars, those were human life. Else why is it a human face?

You could find a battary 50,000 or 500,000 years old and it wouldnt say much to push our current timeline of development back.

It merely comments that we could have been more advanced in terms of exteligence (societys inteligence), then regressed.

I dont think this is true at all, on average, but I do think there is many "lost technologys". So many cilivisations have vanished or crumbled, its only realistic to expect some knowledge went with them.

While our society today is highly advanced, especialy regards to electrical/energy manipulation, I think we have probably lost "different" types of technology.
If there was old battarys found in Egypt, then that could well be one of them.

Anyway, he also said things about some stuff written in the bible that describe spaceships. I guess you wouldn't say spaceship existed but were unregistered? Because if you would all you'd do is agreeing with his idea

The Ezekhiels prophecy pretty much describes a space-ship yeah. That bottle was found in Baghdad . Yes, the "battery" was found there and it was a bottle, using some copper parts and cow piss as electrolite, most likely to nickel/gold-plate stuff, and you need a current for that.

Also there's the computer of Anthykitera, wich is a very complex astrological machine with steel made gears.

Humans are on this planet, in the state we are today, for more then 200 000 years, there is evidence we built huge cities as long as 30 000 years ago, before the ice caps melted and sunk most of them. There are maps that are thousands of years old, with all the continents on them, one of theese maps was "saved" by some Arab researcher I think, Piri Re'is. I remember there being evidence of him copying from much older stuff.

Anyway, Fishos, that movie has very cool stuff at the end, and if you click the arrow at the top of the page to the next part too. And that stuff, is about how other dimensions can manifest themselves in ours.

Yes, but if you look hard enough you find *everything* in the Bible

If your going to look for evidence of spaceships, I think its better looking at stuff like those cave paintings with what looks like a guy in a spacesuit.

Or maybe all the ancient structures and landart only visible from the air. Theres thousands of pieces all over the world.

My own personal view is its possible that there was space-going people on earth before us. Maybe humans, maybe not. Theres certainly time for both. The majority of species on the planet wouldnt leave much trace at all milllions of years later if they vanished, humans included.
So theres room for advanced humans, or even a whole species to have been and gone!

I think its more likely, however, that "lost cilivilisations" never quite got that far.
I do think they might well have had flying machines of various sorts.
Hot-Air based vechiles, for instance, arnt really beyond the technology of even the ancient cilivisations we know about so I dont see flying itself as unrealistic.

I think its wonderfull Google is supporting this so well.
I sometimes think that company is tuned itself to appeal specificaly to everything to support everything I do One week they are defending net nutrality(or fighting Verizon and co that want to have their devices and software to have exclusive rights over bits of the electromagic spectrum), the next they are supporting maned space exploration.
If only all companys had the courage of Google to support things they think will help humanity, and not just seek profit. (after all, what is the point of money alone? surely it is influence on our future that is the only thing of true value?)


We musnt also forget though, that Paul Alan of microsoft privately supported the last x-prize that resulted in SpaceShipOne.

True.
Google always seem a little too good, its suspecious how a company seems to spend so much time given stuff away or working with others to better mankind.

Of course, supporting Net Nutrality is in googles interests...they dont want to pay a "dont slow me down" supliment ontop of their already huge bandwidth bills.
Likewise, its in their interests for the electromagnetic spectrum to be open. They want mobile phone users to be able to use Gmail, or Google Docs if they wish rather then being tied to the phone providers software deals.

But still, from interviews and actions, Google really seems to be one of those companys that dosnt seem to act typicaly.
Maybe its because they arnt more like an individual, then a collective.

eg. Paul Alan has used his money from microsoft to do tremendious work supporting and inspireing space travel. As well as helping the previous Xprize hugely, he founded a very cool science fiction museum in Seattle (which, incidently, i have been too ).
However, he did it on his own. "Microsoft" didnt play a part in it.
Likewise, Bill Gates privately supports a lot of charity work, specificaly medical stuff for third world.
But that isnt "Microsoft".

Google, by comparison, seems to take the pashions of its leaders, and dedicate the resources of the company itself to pursueing it.
They might get some PR as a side-effect, but I truely believe that this practice of "corporate philanthropic" is a very good and nobel thing.

Its also worth noteing google runs a "for profit" charity, the idea of which seems to be you can make money by helping the world
