Email : Where is lba3?

Hi Fred,
I missed the Forum Interview you did, had to work. I looked eagerly for a question like my own to be answered.

Where is LBA3 currently sitting? Is it your next project, when will it commence, whats slowing it done and how do you think we the fans can help you get it rolling?

If you can't give me an answer, can you tell me when we the fan community will expect some solid-answers and where to find them when you are ready to announce them?

Lastly, did feel obligated to not tell fans that your busy if you get flooded with emails, because we don't want to annoy you or loose contact with you.

Best Regards,

Schitzn
[Dedicated Fan]

Hi Tim,

If everything is going ok, you'll have some solid-answers soon. Even if LBA3 is not the next project, I promise it will be done one day.

Best regards,
Fred.

Great thread idea.

So, LBA3 might not be his next project. At least he still promises to make it one day.

As we try to spread the word about LBA, many people who have not played the game, ask us where they can find it. Only, of course, a few copies are sold and nobody wants to go through the hassle of purchasing a 12 year old game they know nothing about.

Many fans at MBN would really love for Relentless to go freeware as we also believe that if more people get to play the game, then it is likely that they will look forward to an LBA sequel.

Our ultimate question is: What has to be done in order for Relentless to become a freeware game?

We ask this now, because we are quite ready to do what we can to make it happen.

Thank you,
Eugene K & the Magic Ball Network.

Thank you for your support,
Fred.
I have to write this because otherwise my message is less than 3 characters long :/

That's one way to look at it. He might also not win the 50milion in a lottery.

@lightning: Ok, so no liberated LBA just yet. Even tho Fred doesn't mind the other stakeholders might. So it's best to keep the status quo.

We have no rush..yet..for it to be freeware.

The moment it is though, we can get a publicity push...get it on lots of magazine discs and such.

Full free games of LBAs scale are very rare, they wont care that its a bit old, as long as it works fine

Including LBA1 in magazines would be a great idea to help selling LBA3.

I made it on purpose like that, so the evil Internet lurkers with high tech robots won't be able to decode the writing.

And mouseballs are so 20th century.

He would have to to develop a sequel, unless he did so with other owners. That's probably the point where he intends to own the rights.

As soemone whose copy of LBA gained a nasty canyon about 7 years ago, the idea that Frederick doesn't seem to object to it bieng freeware in the future is very hopeful.

I miss my LBA.
