Academy of Magic

Hi everyone
as some of you proba bly know there was a School of Magic attempt started some time ago, but people lost interest very quickly so
i decided to make my own version.
it will be a downloadable game, hopefully some sort of online play but what i really wanted to ask was:
what program should i use to make the 3D stuffs?
I like whatever Jasiek was using to make his LBA remake...
anyways i would just like to know what you guys think is the best so i kno how to get tyhe best games.
cheers

Jasiek is working with 3d Game Studio, you could just ask him that, he doesn't bite

For good 3d models I recommend 3dsmax, but then you'll have to export those models to another program, to make it that you can play online.

I think it would be quite inpossible for a unlearned (no offence) like you to start such a project, with no experiences ever with 3d modelling or that kind of programs.

But I won't stand in your way, good luck!

Whoho... No offence, you don't have to defend yourself

If you look for yourself you should find 3d game studio on the internet @ www.google.com

Still, I will give you good luck, but I don't know if you can get any further with C++ if you want to go online.

You should check out the word '<see my edit>' on the internet, maybe that's going to help you a little bit more

//edit: 'MMORPG', my fault

lol thanks its good to know theres helpful people out there

you dont have to reinstall your system, you can edit the registry and remove the folder called 3dgs or whatever you called it, and then when the download searches to see if you have had it before, it wont find it.
the registy is kind of like the history like you get in internet explorer.
of course thats illegal to do that, but...

Hey, you can edit, both the models and the scenery, you have 3 programs in the 3DGS: WED - World Editor, MED - Model Editor, and The SED - Script Editor, It's an intuitive and easy to use program, and when you learn how to use the script properly ... I hope that one day I'm going to have the full version, not just the demo
