How to rip the music??

How do you rip the music from LBA2? I mean the real tracks like Song of Gabriel, cause the ending on every tune there (LBA2) are cut off.

I think you can rip them with any CD playing device...a non-computer CD burner would probably work well...wait....

(putting LBA 1 cd in CD-RW drive...whrrrr.....whrrrr....little green light goes on....umm...opening "RealPlayer"....I see music tracks....playing music tracks....sounds good....okay)

I think you can just take them off in a burner program like Roxio's or RealPlayer...I dunno though...hope I could help a little...

There are many, many programs to convert cd audio to MP3. The songs of LBA2 are cd audio too, so grab any tool.

Try this for a bunch of shareware/freeware apps that can do this.

Well I dunno 'bout your versions, but my LBA cd's can play on any stereo too... You don't even need the computer.

LBA just works in a cd, but LBA 2 has nearly all tracks in wav. format

unfortunately, I do know a good cd-mp3 converter (FreeRIP mp3) but most wav-mp3 converters are hard to find and not freeware

Hmmm... LBA 2 isnt cd tracks... It is a strange type of wav too... Normal waves can be burned as normal... These can't..

Nope, there are WAV files, but also cd audio.
The WAV files are just PCM audio, if I'm not mistaken. Probably your burn program can't handle those wave files.

Yep, I heard very good things about it. Lots of freeware programs use the LAME encoder.

Anyone also happen to know a way to convert a couple of mp3's to 1 mp3?
(so that they are played after each other but without an anoying stop between them)

in a dos screen:
Code:
copy track1.mp3+track2.mp3+track3.mp3 alltracks.mp3
I'm not sure if it works .

Otherwise just use an audio editing program like SoundForge or CoolEdit.

You can just convert it to wav buy using the plug-in in winamp (Nullsoft Disk Writer, in "Output"), then open the wavs with Windows' cheesy Sound Recorder (hoping you got lots of ram memory for you comp to be able to do that), go to the end of the file, then press "Insert File" or "Mix with file" and add the next one, and then the next one, then save all to wav, compress, and walla!
