They should fix those names anyway. Seriously, five words? Can't it be something better?
80 Levels sounds good. Though it still needs a level editor to be totally awesome.

Also, of course Zelda isn't an RPG! It's an action adventure! Was this Miyamoto saying it or their bad translation?

Phantom Hourgasss wasnt that bad, just the stupid bow and arrow bit was the only big bug/impossible bit. (which is particularly crawl to those of us that want every last heart piece )
Twlight Princess was perfect though. Played though, got all the hearts, no glitchs at all.

Well, he was saying that other people saw it that way.
So it might not have been a misstranslation, because a lot of people do refer to Zelda as an RPG.

Choas- what? :P

MGS: Rising (I guess MGS5? It's the new game starring Raiden) is going to be multiplatform for the 360, PS3, and PC. It is being developed by Kojima Productions but it will not be done by Kojima, personally.

MGS: PW (Peacewalker) is Kojima Productions PSP game that is a sequel to MGS3: Snake Eater. It will be directed and produced personally by Kojima, and is exclusive to the PSP. It will feature Jack (Big Boss) and his actions during the 1970's.

AFAIK, there are no plans to release MGS4 on anything but the PS3, so I think that's going to remain a PS3 exclusive.

I'm not sure its been confirmed as multiplatform either way, last I heard there was confusion but no definite statement.

very, very, close but I was thinking about one the second time as well.

Also, whats so weird about NOT telling an omlet something?
Sure it would be more weird TO tell an omlet something :P

Sin and Punishment 2 (wii) - http://wii.ign.com/articles/989/989923p1.html

Never played the first, but I know (like Golden Sun) this was a much wanted sequal by many. Dont know much about it, but it looks rather Starfoxy gameplay only with people flying about blasting stuff.

It's been confirmed multiplatform by, of all people, Microsoft.

I don't really think Rising will be MGS5. When they make a new game as part of the main series they number it, and when they don't they give it some subtitle without a number (Ghost Babel, Portable Ops). Also with the "Lightning Bolt Action" bit it kind of breaks the traditional gameplay of the main series, like Ac!d. To me it feels like it's what Dirge of Cerberus is to FFVII.

I saw a little video of Peace Walker earlier, looks to me like another name to "Portable Ops 2", especially if you say it takes place after MGS3.

And as for MGS4, I guess it'll stay exclusive for now after all, but we'll have to see if there won't be MGS4: Substance or something similar, Substance and Integral (but not Subsistence) slipped into other platforms when the original games didn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get the entire series ported to 360 ala the Essentials collection.

Also, Famitsu confirmed that a.) Rising is multiplatform and b.) Kojima is not directly involved with Rising, only an overseer.

So you're probably right with regards to Rising being more of a spin-off, especially since MGS4 essentially brings Sold Snake's story arc to a conclusion, making it rather difficult for anything but a prequel (meh).

From his comments to Famitsu:

Quote:

While I didn't care for Raiden in MGS2, I loved the role they gave him in MGS4, and I think if done properly, could make for a nice new "Metal Gear" series (Metal Gear Raiden?). As long as 'Lightning Bolt Action' doesn't mean Metal Gear becomes a Devil May Cry clone with Raiden and his sword instead of a stealth sneaking game, I'll be anxiously anticipating it.

I dont see any evidence of that.
As I said, I played over it, got all the hearts, played all the minigames (and the minigames within minigames), and didnt see a single bug, difficulity spike, or anything that would remotely indictate not enough playtesting.
In fact, given the shear amount of different things you can do, Id probably had the most playtesting of any Nintendo game thus far.

Alan Wake (360) - News of this game went dead for ages, but its looking great now.
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/990/990475p1.html

If I get an Xbox sometime, this would be one of the first games I grab.
Looks like a great horror/adventure thingy.
